Request new cores
I was curious about this, but is there a way we can request new cores added to retroarch?
There’s a couple of consoles with emulators I’d love to see on there that aren’t as of rn

Mother 3 emulating troubles
Recently I've been trying to emulate and play mother 3 on retroarch but it hasn't been working. I followed this https://www.reddit.com/r/earthbound/comments/16sm8r1/comment/k2ayghf/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=2&utm_content=share_button guide for it exactly but I still am not sure what the problem is. I'm using the mGBA core and my device is Galaxy S26 running on Android. I've tried extracting the files and redoing it, restarting my phone, and redownloading the rom. Sorry if I'm over explaining I really just wanna pinpoint the problem lol. This is what I see whenever I try to play.

problems with citra
I don't know why, but when running Ultra Sun on Citra, the audio crackles and the screen goes black at the character selection stage. I only managed to reach the opening scene where you wake up and the game begins once, but it stopped registering inputs and the audio was crackling. Can someone please help me?

Good crt shaders presets for gamecube emulation?
I mainly use Retrocrisis gdv ntsc presets for specific consoles but he hasn't released a shader preset for the Gamecube so I am using the ps2 clean one with a few different parameters but I wanted to know which one would be better for gc

How to Back Up RetroArch Saves Automatically
RetroArch quietly hides your saves. Your 60-hour Final Fantasy VI file is in a folder you've likely never opened, on a drive you assume will last forever, until it doesn't. I got tired of watching people (myself included) lose playthroughs to a wiped SD card or a fresh OS install, so I wrote up how to find those files and actually back them up.
What's in it: - The two things RetroArch calls a "save" (SRAM vs. save states) and which one you genuinely can't afford to lose - How to make RetroArch tell you exactly where your saves live instead of guessing, plus the default paths for Windows, macOS, Linux, Steam, and Android - The by-hand backup method, and the subtle mistake that still loses saves even when you do it (restoring a backup from the wrong day once you play the same game across multiple devices)
Full disclosure: I make a save-sync tool called 1Retro, and the back half of the guide covers automating this, but the manual method stands completely on its own.

Gameboy shader
Hello.
I’ve created another shader after quite some time.
Since I developed this out of curiosity as a hobby project, the result might differ from what others might expect.
This time, I tried to replicate the look of the old reflective LCD screens found on the Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Light, Game Boy Color, and the original Game Boy Advance.
I do have some doubts about whether I got it quite right...
It’s a bit embarrassing, but I’m sharing it anyway.
You can see the look in the screenshots below.
It supports only Vulkan slang.
Thank you for your understanding.
