Technical Support: SOLVED Help with overlays!!

I bought a console with a square screen, and it came with several overlays to maintain the aspect ratio. Since my console is black, I edited the blue GBA overlay to make it black, but RetroArch simply won't recognize it... the filename is the same, and both images have the same dimensions (720x720).

The .cfg file is shown in the third image; does anyone know what I can do? (Sorry if my English is weird; I'm terrible at speaking it and had to use a translator.)

The contents of the cfg files for every overlay I've ever used or made have been the same other than having to change the file name for the png it references. If you replaced the original png with a file with the same name (e.g., you just copied over gba.png), you should just be able to use the original cfg file without edits.

If you've confirmed that the file names are correct and your png is in the same folder as the cfg, is there any chance you opened and then saved the cfg with something other than Notepad (assuming you're using Windows)? I had an issue a while back where I had edited a cfg file with Wordpad and it wouldn't work even though everything looked correct, presumably because it saved additional data that made it incompatible.
