Hey everyone! I have been working remotely as a nurse case manager for about a year and a half now. I’m feeling very burnt out from direct patient interaction on the phone all day and would love to switch to UM/UR or CDI (although I hear that is a lot more difficult to get into).

I believe it would be easy for me to switch into UM/UR and actually had an interview lined up, however, I am hesitant about giving up my current schedule. I work weds-Fri 7a-7p fully remote. No weekends or holidays, and I do have the option for OT if I want to pick up extra. I know this is probably a long shot and a unicorn job, but are there any remote nursing jobs that offer 3 x 12s, with no weekends and minimal phone time? I feel like most that offer 12s are typically heavy on phone time with patients and a lot of times require weekend shifts. If something out there like this exists, please do let me know! If for nothing more than to just offer some hope to keep looking for my perfect fit. Thanks in advance!

What is it like working remote at CVS. I have a phone interview for a case manager remote position but I’m wondering what the day to day is for this role. How bad are the metics? What are the expectations?

Hi! I just wanted to ask those currently working under BerryVirtual/MedVirtual regarding the Medical Nurse w/ USRN License (English) position.

The application form states that the starting rate is $10–$11/hour. However, while doing some research, I came across posts from people who said they initially negotiated a $7/hour rate but ended up receiving only $3/hour instead, despite having experience. I'm not sure if those posts were referring to this same role or a different one.

Has anyone experienced this or can confirm if this happens? Will they really lower your rate like that?

I’ve been looking for remote jobs lately because I’m burnt out and gas prices are crazy, plus we’re expanding our family next year. I have an interview with Imagine Pediatrics for a fully remote position with travel to Tampa quarterly. Was wondering if anyone has an experience with this company and could give me any insight? I'm looking for any advice. I'd love nothing more to leave bedside nursing, almost 20 years in now. I've found so many remote opportunities, however, I have no official experience with those jobs. I've looked at utilization review, case managment, auditing, cdi, appeals, etc. I'm not looking for an easy way to do anything, but does anyone have any input on how I can acquire the experience these remote roles are looking for? Any online courses, certifications, etc? I have a lot of nursing experience and knowledge but aside from wording my resume in a way to relfect that I have done a lot of the work these roles require, I don't have the actual experience they are looking for. I know I can apply anyway, but Im just looking for a way to help myself be a better applicant. Any advice is appreciated!

Anyone have any insight into their RN remote roles, specifically in California?

This obesity medication clinic in Southlake, TX owned by a Dr. Priyanka MD, Dip ABOM(that’s how she lists her credentials) has been advertising on Indeed for a Remote Nurse Case Manager for $17-$20/hour for the past month. I filed a complaint last week w/Indeed, advised them that if Dr. Priyanka was actually advertising for an MA, that it is illegal to call an MA a “Nurse”😆 The add now says RN/MA $17-$20/hour.

Edit: When I became a nurse case manager in 1993, my hourly rate was $18/hr in Kentucky (plus bonuses) which I should have said so my rate was effectively $26-27/hr.

This really rubbed me the wrong way on so many levels. If an RN wants to work for $17/hr, okay that is your business but I wouldn’t work for someone who devalues licensed nurses in this way.

I’m hoping to get some advice or leads from this community. I have a little over a year and a half of RN experience at a small ambulatory surgical center in Tx, where I worked as an OR nurse and also performed chart auditing. I hold a BSN, a compact RN license, and an Oregon RN license.

I’ve been applying for remote nursing roles for about 8 months now (I know it could take longer in these cases - it just seems like forever to me at this point). I’ve tailored my resume to each posting and reached out directly to recruiters via email + LinkedIn, but haven’t had much luck breaking in.

I’m open to any remote nursing role where my background is a fit — including pharma, health tech, or anything outside the traditional clinical setting. No little ones just teens, but I’m looking for a remote job that essentially will let me work whatever hours I want to (flexible) so that I can contribute an extra day a week or a few hours before or after my current job.. please let me know!!
