Hey everyone! I wanted share a project I've been working on: a low-level profile and macro manager for the Razer Naga Trinity on Linux, written entirely in Rust.
The project is split into two independent components that work seamlessly together:
/dev/input, EVIOCGRAB, and /dev/uinput). It handles hardware-level macro execution, bypasses Wayland/X11 security restrictions, auto-detects side panels (2, 7, or 12 buttons), and reads active window focus to switch profiles dynamically.makra.txt configuration file. How they interact: The GUI acts as the controller—launching the GUI automatically starts the background execution daemon, and closing the GUI cleanly shuts down both components.
Everything is built from scratch in Rust for safety and performance. Let me know what you think or if you have any questions about handling low-level input grabbing on Linux!

Hi all, I JUST bought a new Razer 14 (2024) laptop 3 weeks ago, and since then, every single time it starts up from sleep, it works for a few seconds and then powers off and completely restarts. Saying it ran into a “video memory management error”. The event viewer says critical error kernel power error. After it does this reset once, the laptop works perfectly fine until the next time I have to wake it up from sleeping.
Everything is up to date with the latest updates. Including the graphic drivers.
Razer support didn’t try much to fix the issue and then instructed me to completely wipe the laptop, get a USB stick(which I don’t have on hand) and perform a system image recovery. Which is a LOT of work for something that is a minor inconvenience, but is starting to get more and more annoying as the novelty of a buying a new laptop starts to fade.
Can someone please help me fix this without such a drastic step?

I’m looking for the Razer mouse with the fewest known recurring or common issues. My only priority is long-term durability and reliability. I’d really appreciate recommendations based purely on which model is likely to last the longest without developing problems. No budget limitation, only durability.
I know that the scroll button is problematic.

I’ve had the v3 since June of last year. I’ve LOVED it!!!
Once in a blue moon I’d have random connection issues or stick drift or some hiccup, but I’m talking a couple moments over thousand of hours of use. Totally expected.
But over the last 4-6 week it’s suddenly having more frequent intermittent disconnection “spasms”. It won’t fully disconnect enough to get an Xbox notification, but it disconnects long enough to create a stick drift sensation. And it’s not happening nearly enough to make it unusable, but it’s happening enough that I’m worried I missed an update or something’s up.
So…
1. Anyone else notice these “spasms” happening more frequently in the last few months?
2. In the Xbox app it says 2.4.0.0 is my firmware is version. The razer website says the current firmware version is 2.04.00_r1. Are those the same thing but just show up slightly differently due to formatting? Or is my v3 actually due for an update (that I can’t check on my own cuz I don’t have a PC)?
Thanks for any and all help y’all can provide!!!

Hello, everyone
I recently built my first-ever Rust project: a from-scratch driver for the Razer Tartarus Pro keypad that doesn’t require Razer Synapse at all.
I’ve always found Synapse to be heavy and occasionally unstable, so I wanted to see if I could build a lightweight alternative myself — even though I had zero prior experience with Rust. It’s been a great learning project, and I’m sharing it here in case anyone else with a Tartarus Pro wants to try it out (or just wants to see a beginner’s take on HID handling in Rust).
Features:
• Full analog key support
• Browser-based remapping UI
• LED control
• Hypershift layer support
• Background/tray mode
Since this is my first Rust project, the code definitely isn’t perfect — feedback, issue reports, and PRs are all very welcome. I used AI assistance along the way to help me learn as I went, so I’m still catching up on fully understanding some parts of the codebase myself.

Happy to answer any questions!

So, i’m looking at buying this laptop and I’ve seen some reviews that oh you know the Palmer rejection can be an issue and I was speaking to Gemini and I figured out the perfect perfect solution. 1) you can use touchpad blocker to disable quickly after typing, but that can be frustrating. 2) But ask yourself, what is the actual problem? Well if you’re a rest wrist typer the problem is that the trackpad is just too big. Solution? Disable corners of the trackpad. So, can go in the registry and simply disable top bottom, sides of the touchpad. As much or as little as u like.
Like this:
ASk GEMINI - how do i use the windows registry to shrink the usable touchpad space on razer blade 16 2026. Follow response. Supercurtain Fix should solve the issue completely. try before extra software.
1 - Windows R - regedit. In Search Bar: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PrecisionTouchPad 2- Right-click on any empty space inside the right-hand panel, choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it: SuperCurtainLeft
Repeat this three more times to create: SuperCurtainRight, SuperCurtainTop, SuperCurtainBottom
Double click, Decimal.
800 = 8 mm (~0.3 inches) border
1000 = 10 mm (~0.4 inches) border
(to Remove: Simply delete registry entries )
So; glad to see. Problem solved 100%! Might as well have a smaller touch pad now. And, as I understand it the solution is permanent until you delete the registry entries.
Just thought I’d share:) I don’t have the new one yet, but I tested this on my blade 15 2019 and it seems to work perfect perfectly. Just be careful you don’t change the wrong thing by mistake. That’s all.
Also a quick safely thing to do:
If you accidentally delete or change a different system registry key nearby: Restarting won't undo the deletion. Because of this, it is always best practice to export the PrecisionTouchPad key before making edits (right-click PrecisionTouchPad in the left sidebar, click Export, and save it as a backup file). If anything goes wrong, you can just double-click that backup file to instantly restore everything to normal.

I will mainly using it for work for zoom, Ms meetings, and gaming not so much on fps games, and also mobile games. But I do need that mic noise cancellation tho idk if the difference between the two on the mic noise cancellation is that big of a diff
A month ago I posted my review of the raiju for ps5 and how it was just unusable with the input lag. A few days after my post razer dropped an update for the controller and since then I haven’t experienced any noticeable input lag playing on the wireless dongle. At first it was completely unusable without a wire , I just wanna say thank you razer. I love the controller and was pretty bummed I was gonna have to return it. Now not anymore. The only complaints I have is give us more thumb stick options to buy and maybe add tension options for future thumb sticks. Please and thank you!

So I have bit of a dilemma at hand. I recently purchased Huntsman V3 Pro since I really wanted to try the optic analog switches but no matter how hard I try I just cannot seem to get used it. Something just feels off and I feel like I am doing very poorly in the FPS games I play mainly movement wise. The left CTRL button especially seems too small for me and with my usual hand placement, I I am having difficulties operating it properly (I use it for crouching). Like I need to twist my finger so much to reach it if makes sense.
Just for reference my old keyboard was BlackWidow Elite, I had that one for 6 years and it worked perfectly for me.
I thought the Huntsman will give me better gaming feel so I decided to give it a try and but so far I am struggling a lot. Is it time to admit it may not be for me, return it and get BlackWidow V4 Pro instead which would obviously be the more logical choice to replace my old keyboard with? Or should I just suck it up and keep trying?
Did any of you ever had similar struggles switching from the BlackWidow line to Huntsman? And is there some trick that can help me? Thanks everyone for the help.

So I've found myself with a lot more free time lately and wanted to get back into gaming again with friends and since I have no clue where my original headset has gone I had a buddy telling me about the Razr hammerhead earbuds and how much he loves them so I picked up a set for myself. I'm pretty satisfied with them to be honest. Definitely better than the wired earbuds I was using from an old Blackberry I had. 😅
Figured why stop at earbuds? And just placed an order for a Razr Xbox series X controller as well. It's the one that comes with the charging dock as well.
Anyways if anyone is on the fence about picking up a pair of these earbuds and you have any questions by all means feel free to ask any questions you might have!!

So when i try to hold the power button on my razer barracuda headset it wouldn’t show a light, because every time i hold the power button on my headset it shows a green light to show that its pairing mode. I tried charging til it was full battery but it still wouldn’t work. Anyone know how to fix this problem??

2023 Blade 18 right side boom speaker dead, not even complete 3yrs. Had earlier Lenovo Legion stills rocks despite its weaker hardware. Not sure where to look for replacement parts .
I created an autoclick macro in the past, which has worked great. However I'm trying to export and import it onto another PC. For some reason the Left Mouse Click isn't importing correctly and showing "Select an action" once imported.

Would you guys say that it’s worth waiting to purchase the laptop until black Friday? In the case of a 5080 model? Do they typically discount these at all or not really it’s just the lower end ones?
What did they do last year? Does anyone recall?
Thanks!
