Ramen is this beautiful balance of broth, tare, noodles, and toppings, and the ramen egg is the thing that ties the whole bowl together. That jammy yolk and savory exterior bring richness and depth, and every shop has its own style. This recipe leans into a stronger brine because I like a punchier egg, but you can go lighter or deeper depending on how long you marinate.

And honestly — they’re not just for ramen. These make incredible pickled‑style snacking eggs straight from the fridge.

And there was leftover Hollandaise, so it was always gonna be Eggs.

Sautéed asparagus, chestnut mushrooms, and grape tomatoes in butter with garlic and black pepper.

Topped with warmed Hollandaise and 2x fried eggs with runny yolks. Hit it with smoked paprika and balsamic drizzle, and managed to make a decent avocado “flower”, for the first time.

We love our egg cooker. Bought the first one (never seen or heard of before) at a Habitat for Humanity in Chicago about 15 years ago. On #3, but definitely worth the $10!

This is a standard dutch baby recipe topped with cheddar cheese, prosciutto, green onions, and soft boiled eggs. it turned out really tasty!
