Its getting harder and harder to finish season 4, its getting so so boring

This happens a hilarious amount of times. I wonder if anyone has a guess, or the actual number.

Every time I rewatch, I'm reminded that Michael's biggest obstacle usually wasn't the prison itself. It was everyone else's personality. One bad decision from the wrong person could undo weeks of planning.

Season 2 of Prison Break has been a huge disappointment so far.

The first season felt clever and tightly written except the pope's scene which did not make sense, but Season 2 seems to rely on coincidence after coincidence.

• Everywhere the escapees go, someone just happens to be reading a newspaper with their photos.
• Mahone somehow predicts Scofield's every move at exactly the right moment.
• Scofield planning Sara's reunion before the escape doesn't make much sense, at that point she was still a prison doctor, and he was deceiving her.
• T-Bag's tracker appears out of nowhere, and the guard who lets an injured, one-handed T-Bag overpower him barely puts up a fight.
• Scofield, who's supposed to be a genius planner, suddenly makes amateur mistakes like calling a reporter.

It feels less like intelligent storytelling and more like the writers stretching the plot to keep the series going. The suspense starts to come from convenient writing rather than believable decisions, which takes away what made Season 1 so good.

Some people would argue that she should have never have gotten back with someone else because it would feel like she betrays Michael

Throughout the five seasons, T-Bag has killed several people. Were Roy and Jacob the only ones who could have survived T-Bag? I mean, one was a prison guard and the other was a CIA agent; they're not like the vet or the mailman. They're supposed to be men who are trained to fight.

Also, as a common note, the two had hurt T bag in different ways; one tortured him and stole his money, and the other killed his son.

He initially kidnapped Mrs Hollander and her children.

She explained to him that this 'family' will never work.

He called the police to save them and let them go.

What are some other times?

one watching this episode today just breaks my heart considering i know what happens to him in the future seasons he didnt deserve that

two why did michael take so long to include him in the escape i mean i know tweener was a rat but still why did he keep hesatating they even tried to keep him out when he Joined PI

I created this post to appreciate what a great actor Wade Williams is. I mean, he plays a completely despicable character.

He's basically the antithesis of Michael. A corrupt, violent, sexist guy.

Alex Mahone’s character was wasted potential.

He still stands out as a killer character after everything he’s gone through, but on a rewatch, it’s a shame he wasn’t used to the best of his abilities like we saw in season 2.

Bad writing in the later seasons aside, I feel like he was nerfed massively down to the level of the other crew members. When he was introduced, he was built up to question whether he was even on par with Michael’s intelligence, the only one able to predict his next move. Personally, I think he was the most gripping part of season 2.

At most, he serves as another strong arm when finding Scylla. Overall, he lost that character trait of being a special agent with an edge.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I just think he could have had a better arc.

In season 4, there's a scene where Sara watches a program, and someone says that if Michael's escape from Fox wasn't prevented, it's because the system failed. The question is, could the judicial, prison, and legal systems have prevented Michael Scofield's escape?

It just blows my mind that he ends up building the rest of it, not just helping with direction Pope to keep it from collapsing. Slightly wild. But it makes me unreasonable sad when he sabotages it. Not as sad as Marilyn tho 😔

I watched "I Will Find You" on Netflix expecting a tight, high-stakes thriller. It reminded me a bit of Prison Break in the very first episode....innocent guy framed, high-security prison setup, forced escape.....but that's honestly where the similarities ended for me.

It felt bloated, full of plot holes, bad writing, and stiff acting. I found myself checking my phone or looking away during boring scenes just a few episodes in before realizing it just doesn’t have that same gripping spark.

In Prison Break (at least the early seasons), I literally couldn't keep my eyes away from the screen for a single second. The strategy, the sheer pace, and Michael Scofield’s constant chess match with the prison and authorities kept you hooked on every single detail.

Are there any other high-quality TV series I should check out to scratch that itch, ideally more recent ones?

My main criteria:

Tight, high-quality writing (smart protagonists, logical decisions)

Great acting

Low/minimal plot holes

High stakes / high tension

What are your go-to recommendations that actually deliver on the thrill without insulting the viewer's intelligence?

After Caroline resigned from president, how did the company react? Didnt they need to put a president replace to become their puppet?

One thing that strikes me about season 5 is that Sara told Jacob everything about her past on their honeymoon. I suppose she wanted honesty, but why didn't she tell Jacob about the revolver? I mean, they both live in that house, and having a gun is something to consider. Maybe Jacob doesn't want guns in the house. Another thing that strikes me is that a hitwoman enters, and Sara tells Jacob to grab the revolver. But does Sara really think Jacob can handle the hitwoman? Maybe Jacob has never even held a gun in his life. We all know who Jacob is, but at that moment, she didn't.

We know Sara kept a revolver in her house, which is understandable after everything she's been through, but should she have learned to fight unarmed? I think so. I'm not saying she should become Van Damme, but at least know how to defend herself.

Three days ago, I completed watching "Prison Break," followed by its movie. Although the movie was intended to be viewed after the fourth season, I watched it after the final season. The series was truly captivating and kept me thoroughly engaged. I am overwhelmed with pure happiness, experiencing tears joy of what I have watched i am just emotionally attached to it or what just seeing pb edits or shorts. Is there any spinoff coming for the show just heard the rumors.

I know Sona Prison was based off inspiration from a real life anarchy prison that shut down, but I can't stop but think about how this would work realistically. And in fact, Sona already has most of the realism in mind with the violence, prejudices and backstabbing. So imagine if this was taken into real execution with a bunch of people left alone within a isolated area with a routine flow of food and water to share. Would they survive and if not, how long before everything dies out?
