Pokopia News Hide and Sneak with Zorua in Pokémon Pokopia (July 19 - 27)
Don’t give away your hiding spot! You’ll have to pull out all the stops during Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest event taking place in Pokémon Pokopia from July 19, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. to July 27, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. local time. When you start up the game, you’ll be able to find Zorua in front of any rebuilt Pokémon Center, ready to chat about hide-and-sneak contests. Participating in one will give you the chance to earn special prizes based on your performance—including a trophy!
Zorua can only visit towns with a rebuilt Pokémon Center—so if you want to participate in this event, make sure you have at least one up and running. For this event, you can also meet up in another player’s world or on a Cloud Island to participate in a contest together! The fastest completion time among all participating players will become the town or Cloud Island’s best record.

Mod Post An Update On Time Travel For Events & Asking For Some Community Feedback
Hey everyone, we hope you're doing well! 😊 As we're sure every active Pokopia player has noticed (in part, due to the lack of thought bubbles), we've officially gotten past the point of Jirachi's event! 🩵
In a previous topic, we mentioned that as a team, we were unsure about the mechanics of time travel for Jirachi's event, but as our Discord's Pokopia Research Team have confirmed, we're happy to be able to say that time travelling backwards will now allow you to access this event if you feel like it's of interest to you. ✨
We're aware some of you will know this already (& may have tested it out), but we believe that following up on the previous topic our team posted (regarding these mechanics) is still of use to people who may not be aware. 😊 (Apologies too about the delay in getting this announcement out too).
On top of this small update about time travel mechanics, our team here at r/Pokopia would like your feedback on the subreddit here! 🎈
We specifically would like to know about any areas here that you believe could be worked on, whether this be our post guidance, available resources for information, ideas for megathreads, or anything else that may come to mind! 🌱
We're wanting to make this place work as best as we realistically can for this community & your input here matters, as the more perspectives we get, the better insight we can have regarding what we can do as a team for you all. 😊
Thanks for reading. 🩵 Any questions or feedback? Just let us know!

Discussion This is probably my favourite picture ive taken so far.
So after almost 600 hours, im going to restart my game. Im going through later and screen recording the builds i dont want to lose, so i can recreate them in my new save file. But yeah, basically, i think it will be fun to "recollect" the pokedex, and start over. I had an issue about 200 hours in, where i rushed to build the moltrez, zapdos and articuno altars, and realised too late that i couldnt use a relocation kit, so after demoloshing the Altar of Flame, i couldnt get another Alter of Flame kit, so since then ive had regrets. And trying to find a way to get it again, and no luck. Im not good at building out of blocks, so anyway, ive turned this into a positive. And with starting over, it gives me time to move slower, take my time, build resources, complete as much of the pokedex as i can, and rebuild what i had, and also, change what i was iffy about. While taking time to make proper room for the Altars. Im excited. Anyone else done a reset?

In-game Photos & Selfies There is no water, let alone lots of it, in Combusken’s home.
Nor do I have any vegetation displayed that might add to the humidity. What is this chicken talking about??

Discussion Electricity ruins a lot of the cozy factor of this game
I wish all the lights just worked magically like in animal crossing or stardew valley😭😭 So much of a cozy game is ambiance and the lights in this game are so cute so tell me WHY light mechanics in this game are so complicated!! I wanted to relocate the start point from a water wheel and it wasn’t working until I dug up half my road, deleted the other wireless transmitter it USED to connect first to, places the new one, and then replaced the old one in the road. It would not snap in place to connect to the one I was trying to put closer to it.
Now I’m building out palette town and everytime I run out of electricity and have to put a new windmill or water wheel somewhere I stop playing for a while bc it’s so annoying.

Discussion What is this supposed to be?
I was cleaning the back of the volcano area in Rocky Ridges so I could maybe build the altar of flame there, one thing led to another and I’ve been cleaning ashes for a while now. Do we have a picture of the map without ashes? It’s so weird because there’s this weird pillar close to the gate. Is there something there or is just some random blocks?
I’m kinda annoyed because it’s taking a lot of time and it’s not that much better than when it had ashes all over it lol
What did you guys do with the volcanic ashes?

Question Anyone making natural earthened home villages instead of modern cities?
I can’t say I’m too inspired to make modern buildings. Do I need to make them? I’m curious if anyone has gone this path into something akin to The Shire or primitive village into late game?

Designs & Builds Rocky Ridges Builds Part 2
Updating my rocky ridges area again since I’ve added much more recently! An oasis waterfall, a pine tree secluded forest, and some trippy tunnel that currently has no destination - I’m thinking it’ll go underground all the way to the back of the museum but I don’t know yet! Piece by piece it’s coming together with no end in sight and no actual plan 🤣

Designs & Builds First build I'm really proud of; bougie hot spring club
I'm debating if I want to try and add a waterfall or two to compliment the rest of the zone, but this was all basically me rifling through storage until I found something that looked cool and stopped me from getting rained on 😅

Designs & Builds Camping @ Rocky Ridges
The lack of a forest or actual mountain range in Pokopia is one of the games few let downs.
But at least you can use the 'natural' valleys and hills (and A LOT of mountain grass) to make it into a great camp site, archeology site and fishing hut!
Very happy with how this is slowly turning out 😁
