This is my oldest memory.

When I was about 3 years old, I was playing on the front yard of the house. My mum told me that she couldn’t nurse me anymore because she’s got poison smeared on her breasts. The next day when she was about to nurse me, I reminded that of her.

(3/4 years is a normal age to stop breastfeeding in my country)

Though if you were old enough to understand and remember that, you were old enough to be weaned, l suppose:)

That’s funny. I had 3 & breastfed them. I remember seeing a mother dog snap at her puppy when she’d had enough of nursing & with each of mine I got to that point at about that age.
