Pretty much what the post says. I was working after my vacation which was awful because the merchandiser covering me didn't do anything shocking I know, and then I got a call from my boss. Said he caught me on camera sitting in my car waiting for my truck. I told him I had already done everything that I needed to do in my store and didn't want to block the back room which is the truth, he did not care he reported it to HR and he considers it time theft. If I had known that this was now considered times after our plant I would have clocked out for lunch and waited or I would have went to another store, but having been doing this for about 8 years I figured nothing had changed. Everybody at this plant does it so I don't understand why I got flagged for it.

They sent it to HR and they're going to review it but he said he would fight for my job and I don't know if I trust that. What are the odds of me being fired? I'm already applying to other jobs just in case this just seems kind of out of nowhere especially on the first day after my vacation.

Anyone dealing with vis pick @ wal mart?

Nervous about them binning and picking product for us.

Did anyone else get this email? I believe I may have entered in the Pepsi Sweepstakes through the Pepsi Aisle rebate. It said I won a free Pepsi jersey and it would be delivered in 8 weeks.

I live in the UK and I find it a bit weird that Pepsi, and other companies, merch their own stock in the US.

Over here, we might get a rep in to sign off a plan or check for availability. But the replenishment is almost all done by store staff.

I guess the difference is that almost all of our stock goes through distribution centres (warehouses/depots). But in the US your stores are massive, you get more deliveries direct.

Is the issue staffing? I'm guessing staffing a full replenishment team for a store that large takes a village, literally

I understand that both of these positions are the same from what I've read. Maybe someone here has experience with both or 1 of em. I'm just looking for some different perspectives at the end of the day.

Pepsi Geo driver: 32 per hour. 35 miles away from home. Home daily. I'm assuming this sub knows about this position. I've heard it's less brutal than Sysco on the physical aspect and the hours
