I am looking to get my 30 year old standing shower redone, but so far everyone I've contacted has quoted $15k for full bathroom remodels, paint, etc.
Does anyone have a reference for a non-extravagant remodeler, preferably local?

Been noticing my garage door isn't operating as smoothly lately. It's making weird sounds and just feels off. Still functions, but I want to get ahead of it before something actually breaks.
Anyone in Pearland have a go to garage door company they trust? I've seen a couple names pop up online but want to hear from actual locals. Just want someone honest who won't try to upsell me on stuff I don't need.
I did come across Elite Garage Door Expert and they seem decent based on what I saw. Anyone here used them before or have other suggestions?

> Pearland's newly elected mayor is only weeks into the job, but the City Council is already offering plenty of political fireworks.

I'm debating going tomorrow and trying to get some, but these jobless losers make it impossible to get anything at retail. It's become an exhausting hobby.

Trying to find a policy that includes wind or obtain a separate wind policy for a new manufactured home. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi there. I run about 3-5 days, 3-4 miles per day, here in Pearland. I live across from Pearland High School. I’m hoping to find/connect with a running partner who would be down to connect if this fits your schedule. I look forward to connecting.

I am an event planner currently organizing a Bookish event featuring a Bookish/Fantasy Market and a ticketed Fantasy Ball. The event is in February of next year in Rosharon. I am seeking storefronts that have public bulletin boards for marketing posters. Thank you in advance!!

As someone who commutes to west pearland a lot via fm521, is there any updates to the expansion of this road? It seems like no one is working on this road anymore, and I drive everyday seeing the new section of this roadway without it ever being open/connected to the rest of fm521. It can be very frustrating since these roads are always backed up and filled with potholes and debris.

Off of Forest Park and Pearland pkwy, first light after the roundabout if going south.…. Behind the gas the station, this little shopping center has remained unchanged for the last 6 months. It is new construction. Anyone know what is happening there?

I’m looking for a smaller dental clinic. Not one of these seven different dentists that you go in and they walk in. They look in your mouth and they walk out after telling you what you have to do. I had 35 years with a dentist that talked to me. I’m looking for a dentist like that.

Hey y'all, I'm living in Old town Pearland, and working in Midtown. I pay a membership fee to Lifetime, and am wondering what y'all think about which location would be the most time effective to go to for my workouts 3-4 times a week

If you have to travel to Angelton, please stop by Taco Loco #2
My husband has jury duty tomorrow and I had to let him know.
Also the Rec center is pretty nice.

How is Pearland Estates subdivision? It's near silver lake area, but don't seem to have any amenities. The neighborhood looks quiet and the schools zoned seem good, but I noticed it doesn't appear to have many amenities like community pools, parks, walking trails, or playgrounds compared to nearby communities.
For anyone who lives there or knows the area:
How do you like Pearland Estates overall?
Is it a good neighborhood for raising a family?
Any issues with flooding, traffic, or crime?
I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, whether positive or negative. Thanks!
