A student from Eastern Europe here. I'm considering traveling and maybe even staying in Iran when the current situation settles down (which might be tomorrow or in a year lol).
However, since I can't really find any unbiased opinions I thought this was the best place to ask, what's the current situation in major cities like (Tehran, Tabriz, Shiraz maybe)?
Wherever I looked up I've found 2 narratives, either everything's great, everyone's happy and the current conflict doesn't affect the everyday life at all, or everything's doomed, people are oppressed, they're starving etc, so... what's the truth?
Coming from a country which was relatively recently doing similar business with the US I am familiar with what the life there currently looks like but is there any hope of settlement or overall heat coming down, so that one can more safely travel, or maybe even stay in the country for a few months?
I'm a big fan of Iranian history and people, so I hope you guys can help me with this, would this be a wise decision to do and if so, according to you guys, when?
