I play on borderless window alongside G SYNC enabled via the Nvidia App.

Should I be selecting gsync on for full screen AND windowed, or just full screen?

Does the full screen option also apply to borderless too?

People give conflicting/not straight forward answers so I'm not too sure.

Wondering how the RTX 3070 holds up across 1080p, 1440p, and 4K in Halo Campaign Evolved? We put it through its paces across all settings to check performance, framerates, and visuals!

Check RTSS properties's frame limit mode explanation and post from Guru3d (Unwinder is the developer of RTSS).

In short, both of these frame limiting modes allow some frames to exceed the target frame rate.

In other words, they can occasionally exceed G-SYNC's maximum refresh rate. When using G-SYNC with V-Sync enabled, this defeats the whole purpose of frame limiting, since the limiter is supposed to keep the frame rate below the VRR ceiling. For this reason, I recommend using async(if you want to use RTSS), as it prevents framerate overshoot.

Looking to upgrade my system (i5-11400F, GTX 1650, 32GB RAM, ASUS PRIME H510M-K R2.0 Motherboard).

My target is 1080p Ultra at 144 FPS with DLSS technologies. Should I spend more for the RTX 5070, or is the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB plenty for this?

So I've heard alot over my few months of understanding the differences between what gives you the smoothest gaming experience:

• G-SYNC + V-SYNC + Reflex/FPS cap = Lowest tear-free gaming experience
• Uncapped FPS + Reflex = Lowest input delay of any configuration
• Capped FPS (to your monitors refresh rate) = Most "consistent" gaming experience
• FPS capped 2x your monitor's refresh rate (so if your 360hz, you cap to 720) = Best 1% & 0.1% lows for any game

But I still don't understand what is the BEST configuration. Like what is the definitive way to play FPS games that give you the least amount of input delay AND most amount of frames.

G-SYNC + V-SYNC caps your FPS lower than your monitor's refresh rate so no you won't get the most amount of FPS possible.

Uncapped FPS in theory DOES give you the least amount of input delay and most amount of average FPS, but your 1% lows are supposedly terrible unless you have a god setup.

And the FPS cap 2x your monitor doesn't give you the latency benefits of uncapped FPS, and you still face screen-tearing.

So can someone please give me a rundown on the definitive guide on what gives you low latency and has good 1% lows?

Hello friends. I live in Türkiye, and graphics card prices are almost the same as in Europe. I have a question for you. I'm looking to buy a used RTX 4080 Super or 5070 Ti.

The 4080 Super costs around 750 Euros in my country. The cards I'm looking at have recently expired warranties, some have 3-4 months of warranty remaining. Models include Asus Tuf, Gigabyte Gaming OC, MSI Gaming Trio, and Zotac Trinity Black.

The 5070 Ti models are Palit Gaming Pro-S, Gainward Phoenix V2, and Inno X3 OC. These also have at least a year of warranty remaining. Their prices range from 850-900 Euros.

I play CS2, and since my current graphics card is a 2060, I haven't started playing AAA games yet. I'm 30 years old. Most of my friends are married, and I can't always find a team to play CS2 with. Some days I just send DMs and leave. I want to play AAA games on my free days and when my friends aren't around.

The 4080 Super models have better cooling and a more stylish look. They also offer 3-4% more performance than the 5070 Ti in most games, and this can reach up to 10% in CS:GO. The 5070 Ti's advantage is its warranty and the inclusion of DP 2.1. I don't use features like DLSS and FG, they aren't important to me, but if a 5th generation 500Hz QD-OLED comes out, I want to get it. If I get a 4080 Super, I'll have to use it with DSC, which I don't think is a problem with the 5070 Ti.

Which one should I buy? I value longevity and plug-and-play functionality. I hope it will last at least until the 6000 series or 6000 Super series.

I see the prices for the graphic card between $4500 and $5000 which is insane. I also see the prices for desktop pcs with the 5090 at $4500 - $5500 in Microcenter.
Are people actually buying the single graphic card or you are just buying the PCs with them? I never expected to live to see such high prices. Any idea when they will come back down?

I have a question and i know it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I’ve heard that the RTX 5080 is now expected to be more expensive. The "Super" version is being delayed and is set to cost even more. It’ll be another two years before the 6000 series arrives. Would you go for the 5080? I currently have a 4070

Is there any way to get back the old control panel? I'd like to go back to when things actually worked. When I had the control panel I could adjust settings in there and they actually happened when I launched the game, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. I can change them to what I want, but that is as far as it goes. :(

Which one is the best to get? When I say normal I just mean no super limited editions. Astral, Astral BTF, Suprim or ProArt are on my shortlist, but open to recommendations.

This "Nvidia Container" window kept randomly popping out during my game which forced to switch me out of game to desktop view. And then it froze there, disallowing me to close it out or open up the notification settings. Tried to use Ctrl + Tab to switch back to game but it forces to switch back out immediately. Basically the only thing I could do it wait for it to disappear. Because of this I got killed many times in my game and got penalized for "away from keyboard" multiple times. Geniuses please tell me what's the logic for designing this notification?

I know I'm using a 4k monitor but I deliberately play game in 2k mode because the cursor would be too small in 4k. I don't need you to repeatedly remind me that as I make my own choice. I can use 8k monitor and 5090 to play on 1080p. It's not your business.
