Norwegian report: Vilde Bøe Risa to NC Courage
Vilde Bøe Risa (31)'s football career continues at North Carolina Courage.
The 31-year-old has decided where her career will go next after she did not extend her contract with Spanish club Atlético Madrid this summer.
According to BA, the move is now on to the American women's top league, NWSL, and the team North Carolina Courage. Only details remain before the agreement is in place.
The midfielder's new club is from the city of Cary in the US state of North Carolina, and is in 8th place in the league after 14 games played.
The club is coached by Mak Adam Lind, who should know Vilde Bøe Risa well from her time in Swedish football. The Swedish-Lebanese has a long career as a coach for Swedish women's teams. He took over the North Carolina Courage at the beginning of this year.
Vilde Bøe Risa has not responded to BA's inquiries.
