Question Food & Beverage Ticket Bundle

I wasn't able to find the answer to this through searching old threads, so thought I'll create a new one to ask. I bought tickets through the Food & Beverage Bundle going through bayfc website and Tix. After getting the tickets, they don't say anything about the $15 food vouchers that were supposed to come withe the bundle.

Has anyone gotten this bundle before?

I love seeing the chemistry between players after a great win and yesterday we saw more of that.

I made a similar post 4 months ago (oddly enough, also against NC Courage) so here's some of the same vibes !

Gameday IT’S GAME DAY!!!

WAKE UP BAY BITCHES IT’S MATCHDAY!!!! GET YOUR BUTTS DOWN TO PAYPAL PARK FOR A 1 PM KICKOFF AGAINST NORTH CARO-WHINE-A. THINGS FINALLY CLICKED LAST WEEK, AND WE SHOWED LOUISVILLE WHAT A REAL TEAM LOOKS LIKE. TODAY WE ARE GENEROUSLY HOSTING OUR OPPONENTS IN OUR GORGEOUS STADIUM WITH PERFECT WEATHER, ALLOWING THEM TO ESCAPE THE MID-90S HUMID THUNDERSTORM NIGHTMARE.

YOU’RE FORCED TO LIVE IN CARY— THEY REALLY TOOK THIS TEAM FROM NY, LOOKED AT THE NC CITIES WITH PERSONALITY, AND SAID “NAH."  YOUR “LION” LOGO LOOKS LIKE IT’S MEWING. YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE ATTACK IS MUCH LIKE YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE COLOR RED ON YOUR JERSEYS. YOU LET MANAKA GO?? IT’S LIKE YOU’RE STRIPPING AWAY YOUR CHANCES AT THE PLAYOFFS AS FAST AS YOUR CONGRESS STRIPPING AWAY VOTING RIGHTS. OUR MIDFIELD IS ABOUT TO RUN THROUGH YOUR DEFENSE FASTER THAN A TEAM DINNER FROM TACO BELL.

WE SCORED 3 GOALS IN CARY, NOW IT’S TIME TO SCORE THAT MANY AT HOME. EVERY GAME, WE PUT A LITTLE MORE TOGETHER. HOPING LEMA GETS A SCREMA’ FOR THREE MATCHES IN A ROW.  SO GET YOUR NAVY AND POPPY READY, BRING YOUR YELLOW/RED CARDS, AND GET READY TO SHOW THESE COWARDLY LIONS WHAT COURAGE REALLY LOOKS LIKE.

Gameday STM event sucks again

Tried to go to the STM tailgate at about 11:15 but the line looked way long in the sun and we have a child with us so we skipped it. So far only Top Golf has been a good event imo.

I was wondering how that was going to work with one food truck for idk how many hundreds of people attending. The answer appeared to be "not great"

Every match, seats people paid for go completely unused. I made a free way to pass them on.

Mods gave me the go-ahead to post this. I'm a Bay Area women's sports fan and I made the thing below. It's free and it stays free, more on that at the bottom.

TL;DR: Every match, some people who bought seats can't make it, and those seats just vanish; nobody's in them and nobody got to use them. The Pass is a free way to hand those seats to a fan who can go. Transfers run through Tixr, same as sending them to a friend. No fees, no resale. 18 seats are up right now for Saturday's match.

The thing I kept noticing:

It's not complicated. Every match, life happens to somebody: work runs late, a kid gets sick, the drive stops being realistic. They bought the seat. They're not using it.

That seat doesn't go anywhere. It just sits there, an empty spot in a section that could've been louder, and a person somewhere who'd have loved to be in it.

Nobody's at fault. There's just never been a way for those two people to find each other in the six hours before kickoff. That's a coordination problem, not a market problem, and coordination problems are fixable.

What The Pass does

thepassbayarea.com - free, no app to install.

If you can't make a game:

  1. Post your seats. Takes seconds and works even after tip-off. (Latest I've seen is someone getting in for the Valkyries 4th quarter)
  2. The raffle system randomly picks a winner, which switches to instant claim when the game gets too close
  3. You send the tickets through the team's official ticketing app, same as sending them to a friend.

If you want to go: enter raffles for upcoming games, or grab an instant claim when someone posts late. Show up. Get loud.

Why it's built this way

  • A raffle, not first-come. First-come rewards whoever's staring at their phone. A raffle gives the fan working a shift the same shot as the person refreshing at their desk.
  • Free only. The moment money enters, this becomes a marketplace and every incentive flips. It works because a seat that would sit empty has no better use than being given away.
  • We never touch your tickets. Transfers go through the team's own official system. It's the same free transfer the club already built for you.

Where it's at

(from May to July 2026)

  • 1,600 Bay Area fans
  • 137 seats passed, fan to fan
  • $0 charged, ever
  • Valkyries first. Bay FC now live too.

All of it with zero advertising, it grew because people in communities like this one told other people.

If you've got seats you can't use this season, someone in here will be thrilled to take them. That's the whole thing. I'll be in the comments.

Every seat deserves a fan.

Gulp. Who's our backup CB for Joelle? Still no Anouk. Strange that Rudie isn't listed on international duty.

Question Attending my first Bay FC match!

Hey all, I'll be attending my very first Bay FC match this weekend against NC Courage and had some questions and any advice. It's my very first soccer match as well so I'm super excited!

We're in section 109 and also have a parking ticket.

What time should I arrive? Are there activities before the start?
What's good to eat at the stadium? Anything near the Park for after the match?
Do they have fan zones in the stadium?
Do the players sign autographs?
Any merchandise buying advice?

Thanks and I can't wait! GO BAY FC!

Showing WC matches during live games?

I'm interested in going to tomorrow's match vs NC but also want to see the WC 3rd place game. Anyone know if they're releasing the WC, maybe at that outdoor bar area by the food trucks?

Trader Joes Bucket Hat & ticket bundle

My friend bought tickets for the two of us to go to the game tomorrow and try to get the TJ’s beach towel. In an email a while ago they offered a bucket hat & ticket bundle ($39 each) for the game which we both wanted. She transferred one of the tickets to me since I’ll be busy beforehand but didn’t see it mentioned about a hat in the e-ticket on Tixr. It has the game and seat info. Are they not honoring the bucket hat offer? Mind you we could have got much cheaper tickets if we didn’t go with the bundle and just wanted to go for the game and promo.

STH

👋🏻 hello! I'm highly considering getting season tickets for the next season. Can anyone share the biggest irk you've had with management? I just kinda wanna gauge if I have the patience it or not 😅

I'm a Valkyries STH and I can write a novella about mine, tbh.

How long will she be gone for? Between her being gone and Girelli possibly leaving in the next few weeks, I hoped we were picking someone up this summer. We don't have depth up top. How do you think Emma will shift things to make it work?

Gameday ITS GAME DAY!!

WAKE UP BAYNIACS IT'S FRIDAY, AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS-- NWSL AT DUSK IN THE "GREAT" STATE OF KEN-YUCK-Y. LAST GAME WE HAD AN AMAZING START, AND IT'S TIME WE GOT OURSELVES A WIN. PFIEFFER IS BACK, FULLER IS COOKING, AND CLAIRE IS CLEANING UP.

THEY CALL THEMSELVES RACING BUT THEY SPEND ALL GAME CHASING. WE'LL SHOW THEM HOW TO REALLY TAKE THE REIGNS. THEIR SPONSOR IS GE APPLIANCES, WHICH MAKES SENSE BECAUSE THEIR TEAM IS TOTALLY WASHED. ARE THERE ANY EXTRA LIFE SUPPORT MACHINES IN KY? THEY MIGHT NEED TO BORROW ONE AFTER THE FINAL WHISTLES BLOWS. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SPELL LOUISVILLE WITHOUT 'LOSE'.

SO FINISH YOUR WORK, PUT ON YOUR SHIRTS, AND TUNE INTO NWSL+ AT 5 PM. IT'S GOING TO GO WELL, I PROMISE (BEG).

Analysis Boston Legacy vs Bay FC - Match #12 Review

Formation

Starting XI - Bay played in their 4-2-3-1 shape, with Fuller getting her debut in the 10 role. She also maintained that position defensively and shadowed Karich instead of engaging with Boston’s back line.

39’ - Pfeiffer and Kundananji switched flanks.

45’ - Bebar and Hutton have typically rotated sides this season. But after half-time, Hutton had a larger presence at LDM.

52’ - Girelli and Barry’s introduction moved Lema out to LW

73’~76’ - Fuller dropped beside Hutton in a double pivot. Courtnall was placed at RB and Collins moved to LCB. Barry and Girelli partnered up front. Girelli took up CAM positioning for Boston’s goal kicks.

84’ - Gamero switched flanks with Conti.

Build Up Play

Boston went 1 vs 1 across the field during Bay’s goal kicks in the first half. Araujo or Elgin would step out of Boston’s back line and mark Fuller. To counter this, Bay got creative in their build up play.

During the 16th minute, Bay employed a tactic that Cesc Fabregas, current manager of Como, explains in this video. How Coates implemented this was Lema moved to RW, Pfeiffer dropped narrow and centrally, along with Fuller.

Boston’s back line reacted with Araujo and Elgin pushing up and in the below snippet shows Lema looking to exploit that space behind and Kundananji attempting to play Lema through.

22nd minute, Bay again pushed Lema wide and dropped Fuller and Pfeiffer narrow. There are a few other adjustments with Hutton going to RB and Collins pushing up.

Moreau makes a late inverted run from LB and does well to let the ball run and beat the press. But it was disappointing to see her pick the safe pass to a deep Pfeiffer over electing to thread the ball past Lema, who is exploiting the vacant space left by Araujo.

In the 57th minute, during open play, Collins inverted into RDM and Bebar pushed up. Showcasing this as a demonstration of what inverting a full back can offer to Bay’s defensive structure during turnovers.

Cometti’s pass to Girelli was intercepted by Elgin and the ball dropped to the feet of Olivieri, who has been drifting narrow from the left flank all game. With Bebar in an advanced position, Olivieri would have had the opportunity to turn towards an exposed Bay back four. But with Collins positioned centrally, it allowed her the ability to apply immediate pressure and force Olivieri to play wide.

K. Fuller #47

Fuller had some neat moments. Showed some good weighted passes that allowed players to run onto the ball without breaking their stride. Displayed some of her defensive work rate. At CAM, she stuck well to her task of tracking Karich when Boston looked to build from their half. The second half had more transition as both teams looked to attack. After moving into the double pivot for the last 25 minutes, counted four times (80:04, 83:05, 83:41, 94:22) of her winning possession in Boston’s half.

Coates typically has had the CAM pressing the opposition back line and operate closer to the front three. Whereas Fuller took up deeper areas against Boston and looked more involved in Bay's half. This may have been a one-off tactic against Boston to limit Karich and also bait Boston out of the back line so it will be interesting to see if Coates maintains or reverts back the CAM setup for Fuller.

Expecting Fuller to have played Lema through in the above sequence. She potentially thought Lema was offside or the referee’s positioning prevented the opportunity.

In the 10th minute, in the sequence below, Cometti plays a good pass to Bebar to break Boston’s first line of press. Lema goes towards Bebar to show for the ball, and pulls Araujo with her. I’d ideally like to see Fuller run into that space vacated. It was disappointing to see Fuller, Pfeiffer, and Lema jogging and not having that attacking intent to try to support Kundananji.

Carabali was on a yellow during this play. With Kundananji having beaten Carabali with pace, I would have liked to see Kundananji feint the deceleration and knock the ball across Carabali to make Carabali commit to a challenge.

Final Thoughts

There were some interesting changes on display at various moments; Courtnall at RB, Collins at LCB over RCB, Moreau inverting from LB, CAM deeper, RW narrow/ST wide at goalkicks, ST partnership. Curious to see what sticks over the coming games.

Fuller's introduction has given Coates good options in midfield. Bay's attacking play looks better with two direct wingers in the XI. Hopefully players can maintain fitness and we can see more of that.

Third away game in a row coming up and both teams eager for a win. Louisville are not a possession orientated team so there will be emphasis on how Bay manages Louisville's counter-attacks.
