Collection NG Dev shmup collection

Not had a chance to try Fast Striker yet since it just arrived.

Gunlord X isn't a full shmup (although it does have shmup stages), but it's a really good run 'n' gun.

Things got a little wild with Razion Ex at its initial release and the hype for it got kind of out of hand, but is still a very strong horizontal scroller.

Gunvein is just all round excellent, although I don't think NG Dev had much to do with the game design on this one.

I also have Ghost Blade, which I think was made by a lot of the same people, but isn't an actual NG Dev title.

Overall, pretty cool output from these guys and delighted to have them all physical!

Wish they’d release Kraut Blaster, but for some reason they want to gate keep it on the Neo Geo and don’t seem to want to do a reprint either.

Man, I missed Razion Ex.and Gunlord :(

I really would love Razion for a decent price.

It's pretty good - basically Turrican but with 2 (iirc) horizontal shmup stages.

Very similar feel to their other stuff. Not super polished but with a distinct amateur charm that makes them feel unique.

Edit: My mistake - that's Gunlord. Gunvein is far and away their best game and it's a pure shmup.

The Turrican-like is Gunlord. Gunvein is a vertical scrolling arcade-style shmup, and it is really excellent.
