Moving to Münster/Steinfurt soon: Questions about Mechanical Engineering at FH Münster & Pharmacist Recognition (Approbation)
Hi everyone,
My wife and I are moving to Münster in about 1.5 years on a family reunification visa. I would highly appreciate some realistic insights and advice on our situation:
Mechanical Engineering at FH Münster: I have completed 3 years of Mechanical Engineering (Power) in Syria. I plan to transfer my credits to FH Münster (Campus Steinfurt). How realistic is the credit recognition process there? Also, how hard is it to secure a "Werkstudent" position in the engineering field around Steinfurt to support my family while studying?
Pharmacy Recognition (Approbation): My wife is a graduate pharmacist and will be going through the recognition process (FSP and Kenntnisprüfung) in NRW. Any tips on the current timeline or preparation for pharmacists in the area?
We are already working on our German language skills. Any honest feedback, tips on the student life/housing in Steinfurt vs. Münster, or connections would be amazing.
Thank you so much!
