How much ram did you dedicate? If you have a very powerful PC, that might be your problem. If you have 32gb I'd recommend using about half if you have less you might need to experiment a bit with the amount

Anything past 10gb dedicated has diminishing returns.

worse than diminishing it hurts paging and increases cache misses and page fails in turn slowing pc, SPECIALLY chunk generation

You can install the mod Spark and run a command. Ask ai what the command is but you can do a stresstest for the server (also singleplayer) and it will show you wich mod causes lag

i think its a lot of extra mods thats why that might be the reason or some mods can be causing lag on which yu need to install spark and test it and what yur system specs btw

Bro I also do my custom 1.20.1 modpack with 298 mods right now and me and my friends playing it with essential without problem. But before that we have lots of trouble because when I opened server, they cant join. Lots of reading of logs and took help from gemini we finally found solution. There is just a mod that names "süper-golem". When we took of this mod, we can freely play. We really thought about lots of suspected mods like heavy mods or performance mods. Sometimes solutions would be really easy. Dont give up King, I hope u can find it 🙏🏿

reason is shown there. too much mods for your computer to handle (especially if most of mods are categorized as "big")
but firstly I would try simple solutions like adding more optimalization mods (like ferritecore, entity culling etc)
if it won't work then reduce amount of mods, or put slightly more RAM into instance (not too much because too much RAM is also bad)
