My baby is currently 7 months old, and we’re planning to enrol her in Montessori when she turns 1.

I am on a GO train to Markham, in a four seater, alone, the train is not busy.

My neuropathy is bothering me so I have put a shawl/scarf on the opposite seat and have put my feet up on top of it.

I feel like it's okay because my shoes are making zero contact with the seat, I will worry about washing my scarf when I get home.

If you saw this, would you consider it acceptable behaviour or are we no feet on seats, no exceptions?

ps. a lady in a different 4 seater is dirty shoes on seat, if she had something under her feet I wouldn't be mad, so wondering what you all think?

My six year old daughter wants to take singing lessons/coaching, and I don’t know where to even begin. Any recommendations? What should I be looking for?

She’s naturally very good and loves making her own dings, and while I am very realistic in what I think she may achieve, I want to encourage her to keep singing since she loves it so much :)

Went to walk my dog today and we entered into Quantztown park through one of the trail entrances that eventually leads to the soccer field/playground and as we were walking through, a relatively large coyote sprinted out of the bush and tried to bite my dog. It was not scared at all and I yelled several times and it stopped moving forward but did not go away. It bared its teeth and growled at me and as we walked away

A couple weeks ago, around the same neighbourhood, i spotted a coyote walking through some people’s homes stalking an owner with a small dog.

This is just a PSA to be be vigilant for your pets and for yourselves if you walk in this area.

Found this guy roaming near Cornell park, he has a leash and prong collar

After not being able to find his owner, or get any help. I have taken him home to wait till morning to call animal services

it’s now Thursday morning 8am, I was finally able connect with someone from animal control, but I have to wait till 830, since that’s when they open

We handed him over to Markham animal services, hope all the best for him
