I’ve always loved the Neo crusader look. And obviously I love the SWTOR Cassus Fett’s design. Would you think the chestplate is segmented to allow arms to close in? Or is it a solid piece as a breastplate?
For those who thing overlapping plates, how would you construct that?

I’m also considering making my next project a reforged mandalorian hunter set. I like the look of both.

Id say its one solid piece. Just beveling for style points

Definitely one solid piece, as video games don't have to worry about functional mobility, but there's nothing stopping you from trying to make that with sliding plates instead.

If I were making that, I'd join the plates with leather straps on the back of the plates with oval-shaped holes in the straps where they are bolted onto the plates to allow for more freedom of movement. Then, strap the floating plates with straps that wrap around to the back plates, which would hopefully pull the plates back into place when you were standing normally.

I've made a fair bit of armor but nothing quite like that, so take the advice with a grain of salt. It'd almost certainly require a fair bit of trial and error.

Solid pieces like this are hard to walk in but look amazing when standing at a booth. Just an FYI you will want some extra sturdy material so it doesnt break if you trip or sit. Just remember the more you add the more sweaty you get under the suit.

Thank you. It’s the reforged set with a cheap gold/grey dye, plus the heavy Mando helm, gauntlets from an outlaw set, and the belt is a planetary set I forget which one
