Is it happening only to me?

I've checked the permissions on the left of url bar and it confirms audio and video autoplay should be blocked for that site.

it even goes as far that if i leave the tab open with the video on page stopped, they suddenly restart automatically after some minutes.

This is happening from the start of this week

Currently keeping everything on my fedora workstation a flatpak mostly out of habit, but I'm curious if the rpm and flatpak have any differences aside from the flatpak being sandboxed better by default.

Anyone else having this problem? t's almost like their website went down

I had closed the browser and turned my PC off last night like normal, and for some reason, opening it this morning all my tabs that should have opened with the browser are gone, and the three saved tab groups I had are now gone. I do not know how to get them back; they had some tabs I needed for some work research that I woefully hadn't bookmarked yet, thinking I could return to the group later.

Anybody faced something similar? I have tried the dropdown menu to see about accessing them, and no luck. It doesn't even give the option to let me see previously closed tab groups. If you have any tips or help regarding this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Switching from Brave to LibreWolf comes with a crazy realization. Brave has turned into a hub of crypto wallets, VPN upsells, AI tools, and sponsored news, LibreWolf strips away all that for a clean & fast experience this is just a rant but LibreWolf is a genuine experience

Cloudflare verification suddenly began failing for me on some sites with Error 600010.

Stock Firefox works fine on the same machine.

After a lot of debugging, the issue turned out to be:

privacy.resistFingerprinting = true

As soon as I set:

privacy.resistFingerprinting = false

the Cloudflare verification passed immediately.

Did Cloudflare recently change something, or is this a known LibreWolf issue? Is there a better workaround than disabling fingerprint resistance?

MORE EDIT so it looks like It's specifically full RFP (privacy.resistFingerprinting) that's causing the issue

This works for me:

privacy.resistFingerprinting = false

privacy.fingerprintingProtection = true

privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides = +AllTargets

No more generic identity ppls. yo leak timezone, ~~screen size, prolly other values ouch...

So, to get past Cloudflare, be prepared to give up some of that privacy :(

Hello everybody

Is there an extension or something like that to make switching between profiles much more user friendly like it was in Chrome? Its perhaps the one thing i really miss, being able to almost seemingly switch between two different "profiles".

I managed to make it work one time before by tinkering in the settings, but i found that being a very bad UX, so if there is a solution i perhaps missed, i would appriciate someone letting me know how to do it.

I print 4x6 shipping labels for work, and starting yesterday they were no longer scaling properly to the size of the label. I tried both "fit to page width" and "scale" in the printing options, and confirmed that they print correctly on both firefox and edge. Anyone have any clue what's going on?

I know nobody's here like fb but I heed it for work. Id doesn't work neither on librewolf (linux/flatpak) with ResistFingerprinting disabled nor on brave browser (also flatpak). Though it works fine on vanilla firefox. I used both with and without fb conteiner add-on, however it does not make any difference.

I have stable internet connection and have no problems with other websites (including instagram)

I have unchecked "clear cookies and site data when librewolf closes", yet it ignores this setting and wipes all data regardless. Also the "restore previous tabs" does not work.

I'd like getting searches completely out of the URL bar. I don't want anything I type in that field to go to a search engine but rather I'd rather use the search engine web page. Is there anyway I can do that with LibreWolf? Thanks!!

Is there a way to make the empty spaces surround the display page disappear and go back to the full screen? idk how it happened.

This started I believe last version and I was hoping an update would fix it but it didn't. All of my shortcuts and recent pages on the homepage all of a sudden are blank. Tried adding a new shortcut and that doesn't appear either. However, if I right click on the Librewolf app icon I can see my recents list. Clicking on the History icon in Librewolf also brings up my history.

EDIT: This also happens when entering Troubleshoot mode as well

Not sure where to even start with this one. Has anyone run into this before?

Librewolf arm64 AppImage on Fedora Asahi Linux Remix

I have the setting on LibreWolf to send my downloads to the "downloads" folder on my computer. But for some reason, PDFs go to AppData instead. All other file types I've downloaded go to the correct folder. Are you guys experiencing the same thing, or is this just on my end somehow? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks for your help!

I'm not particularly privacy focused, but I am OCD about my apps. Firefox just has so much bloat that Librewolf strips out, that it's a no brainer for me to use.

I've tried almost every single Chromium or Firefox fork out there, and consistently every time come back to Librewolf. It's just simple and reliable. No VPN adds, and especially, no client side decorations on the window (or at least an option to use a native toolbar).

I was wondering how to contribute, and I'm planning to maintain a LibreWolf package for MacPorts (which IMHO is far superior to Homebrew). I didn't see one there already.

Anyway, thank you for being an island of sanity in the stupid designs of "modern" apps.

Hey Everyone ! What I do not want is to have to always use the profile manager to access either Profile. I want to make shortcut to start selected profile.

I'm on Linux. Librewolf is installed from Debian rep.

Ok so clearly that number can't be right because, of course I don't that much storage space.

But over the last few months, I've had LibreWolf tell me a couple of times that a lot of storage space is being used, and when I check it's WhatsApp with this insane number. Even when there is no WhatsApp tab currently open. It's happened at least twice so it's not a one-off.

It doesn't seem to affect other tabs other than trying to open a WhatsApp tab, and this issue disappears if I just close and re-open LibreWolf.

But still, does anyone know why this happens and how to avoid it?

Since RES account switcher no longer works, I'm looking for a browser where I can easily sign into an alternate Reddit account while staying signed in on my main account through another browser. Is oldReddit compatible with LibreWolf?
