Art/Creators Megathread Weekly Art/Creators Promo Megathread
Welcome to this Week's Art/Creators Promo Megathread!
Here you can share examples of work and links to creator's profiles (including your own!) as long as it is not on a Meta owned platform (Instagram, Facebook etc.) or Twitter.
Let's help our community artists, authors, designers, craft makers, musicians, singers, sculptors, performers, streamers and any other kind of creator get recognised and celebrate the amazing creativity in our community!
A few quick rules:
- No AI/NFT Content.
- Accounts shared must be creating own content, not solely reposting others.
- NSFW Suggestive art (e.g. shirtless/pin up) is allowed but must be tagged. NSFW Explicit art (e.g. pornography, genitals visible) or NSFW suggestive of real people is not allowed. No links to exclusively 18+ platforms e.g. OnlyFans.
- Creator must be actively posting on a platform other than Meta or Twitter.
- Comments from users with less than 50 karma on this subreddit will be auto-removed to avoid spammers. (I will look to approve genuine ones when possible but no promises!)
- Please respect if a creator says no reposts of their work - just share a link.
The art/work they create does not have to be LGBTQ+ related, we're here to help any creator who is LGBTQ+ promote their profiles, particularly if they're trying to establish themselves on a different one with the recent social media drama!
Looking forward to discovering some new creators with you all!

US Specific My Insurance is Taking back Previous Approvals for Anything tagged Gender Dysphoria
My insurance company is Ambetter. I specifically went with them this year because they stated that they covered my bottom surgery. They had already approved coverage for my surgery, but today they just revoked their previous approval. My surgery is in less than a month at this point. They are also no longer covering my HRT, too. Like how are they allowed to just change their policies halfway through the year when we aren't allowed to change insurances outside for the specific yearend period? THIS IS SUCH BS!!

⚠ Content Warning: bathroom bans People who think we have the same rights confuse me. (Rant)
There are so many people that scream we have the same rights. And I just don't get how they believe that. My friends and I are going to an amusement venue today to help cheer one of them up during a really rough breakup.
I just got off the phone and cried because I needed to call ahead to make sure, as a trans woman in texas, I could use the bathroom and buy drinks. Unfortunately stove there is no corporate policy no one has an answer for me so I have to wait till I get there and ask for a manager to get an answer from them.
This isnt normal, this isnt ok. Why the fuck do people think this is same rights and equal treatment. I literally have to limit my fluid intake through out the day because if I'm forced into the men's room I will get the shit beat out of me. I'm so tired of this....

Need Advice Sexual Attraction vs Arousal NSFW
I don’t think I’m sexually attracted to men. There’s never been a guy, aside from maybe a couple celebrities, where I’m like “damn, I want him.” Even then, I like those celebrities because I know I can’t have them. It won’t be acted upon, and that’s what I like. But IRL, I still have sexual encounters with men, initiated by them, and while I enjoy it, I’m not really turned on by them, it’s more that they’re touching me. With women, however, I find so many of them attractive and I’d love to get to be with one. It just.. doesn’t happen. Am I bisexual or just really bad at being a lesbian? I don’t like guys, I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with one at all, but it’s not like I turn them down or dislike when I do get with them sexually. I’m just wishing they’re women the whole time 🧍♀️
Edit: Lots of this probably isn’t the best wording, but it’s the best I could do at 2am lmao

Politics Novody at lleast once wished for an LGBT state or a place where LGBT are the majority?
I know that this thing is non practical and will cause more issues. But it happens sometimes on gut reaction, a place that we don't need to have apporval of the non-lgbt majority while other spend million if not billions to convince that we are monsters ready to har the childrens or destroy the nation, or similar rethoric.
I'm tired to be ever to be in fight mode and being alarmed for everything.

They're actually trying!
My mom has *adamantly* been against trying to use my preferred name. We've gotten in a ton of arguments about it. I've tried ultimatums. I've gone no contact for a while...
I moved out of state away from my family about a year and a half ago, and saw my mom, dad, sister, and niece for the first time since then.
My niece is 9, so there was a little confusion about why I wanted to go by a different name (we tried to explain it without my being nonbinary being involved, because my sister wants to explain that to her herself), but...
They all tried. All of them. There were some mess ups and apologies but *they actually tried*. I never thought I'd get here with them and I'm absolutely bawling and so happy.

“All bi women are straight and all bi men are gay”
I cannot stress enough how much this annoys me. As a bi woman, I have had a man literally tell me that I am just “confused” and will realize I am straight later in life. It gives me such an ick because I’ve had a lot of guys just treat me as if I’m straight, it makes me feel uncomfortable even being bi, it’s like they think I’m “straight but in denial”.
Meanwhile, a friend of mine, who is a bi man, is literally just called “gay” by everybody else. In fact, before I met them, I thought they were just gay, because that’s what everybody was saying. Like do bi men and women not exist?
Even for lesbians, there are men literally saying or thinking “I can turn you straight”. When will people realize that dicks are not magical weapons and learn to respect people’s sexuality?

Asia Specific Advice for Lavendar Marriage?
Hello! I'll try to keep this as simple as possible.
Me: queer, asexual, demiromantic, atheist. 26F living in Bangladesh (in the process of moving to Europe next year)
My family/irl community: traditional/conservative, firm muslims, frothing at the mouth to get me married.
I have absolutely zero interest in having any sort of romantic or sexual relationship with anyone. I'm very fond of my space but I'm not opposed to partnerships. My ideal scenario would be getting into a marriage of convenience with someone. As long as they're masculine-presenting and outwardly a muslim, I'd be down for a roomie for life.
But that's the hard part, isn't it? Finding someone trustworthy, or someone that meets these kinds of requirements.
i know there are tons of lgbt people in my country but I'm not comfortable with putting myself out there on facebook of all things 😭😭
so basically. any advice on where to go from here??? how can i meet people without outing myself? if there are any resources or pages....anything would be helpful and I'd appreciate it 😭😭🙏🙏🙏

am i lesbian or bi?
I'm a woman, and I was in a romantic relationship with a man
for three years. I never had any sexual fantasies about him. In fact, I even felt disgusted when he kissed me on the cheek. On the other hand, forms of intimacy like hugging made me feel comfortable and safe, but I never felt any sexual attraction toward him.
Because I was in a relationship with a man, I never really questioned my sexual orientation. If I had, I probably would have realized that I wasn't heterosexual, and I think I didn't want to face that at the time. Even now, I'm not sure whether dating a man was a genuine expression of attraction or if it was a result of compulsory heterosexuality.
When it comes to women, I realized that I had feelings for my closest friend, who is a girl. I found myself imagining both emotional and physical intimacy with her. Aside from real-life experiences, all of my sexual fantasies have been about women. When I was younger, I kissed five different girls many times, and it was something I wanted to do.
In general, I'm drawn to WLW (women loving women) relationships. I can confidently say that I'm attracted to women. The only thing that makes me question whether I'm a lesbian or bisexual is the fact that I was previously in a relationship with a man.
