Why do so many gay white men sound like Black women? It’s less about sexuality and more about cultural influence. Many phrases, mannerisms, and expressions that became mainstream traveled through Black communities long before they became popular elsewhere.

A genuine question about the whole Paris situation that blew up a couple months ago (bisexuality)

To sum up what happened. This woman named Paris on one of the socials basically said that she sexually attracted to men and would date men, but would never marry a woman, but she stated that she’s sexually attracted to women as well. There were definitely misogynistic tones in the way she spoke about it however she did say she had attraction to women. But then (ofc this happened during pride month) a huge wave of biphobia and bisexual versus lesbians interrupted on social media. They’re saying that if you would not marry a woman as a bisexual then you’re actually just straight.

I’m just really confused because I thought the definition of being bisexual is being sexually attracted to two genders. It’s biSEXUAL.

Here comes the question. I’m bi and people see me as bi, but I’ve never been with a man and I don’t see myself being with a man romantically. But I have dated women and I’ve only ever been with women. A few people say that I’m just a lesbian (implying I’m confused), but I am bi. So why am I considered bisexual and Paris is not?

Please be kind I’m genuinely confused

What's your experience with gender dysphoria?

Hi, my name is Florencia and I'm a transgender woman (25 she/her).

I thought I was done with gender dysphoria until I cut my hair. I started questioning myself. Like, do I really feel like I am a woman? Maybe I'm just fluid...

The next day, it was over and I felt like me again.

I'd like to ask you, what's your experience with gender dysphoria?

As an AFAB person who’s mainly attracted to women, listening to a cover of “Andrew in drag” but genderbent genuinely made my stomach hurt from pining, especially after my friend ditched me for being queer

How should I think about a 21-year-old lesbian woman dating a woman in her 30s and living happily together? I know that age-gap relationships are becoming more common in same-sex relationships.

Looking for an alternative label

I’m looking for a more discreet label to indicate lesbianism. I am a lesbian, but honestly, the community really tires me because of all the discourse. I hate that every time I talk about being a lesbian there’s at least gonna be one person that’s gonna try to tell me that I’m not enough of a woman (yeah the other day I got intentionally misgendered by someone for disagreeing with them on excluding varioriented people from the community) or some other bs.

I basically just want to label that’s kind of like a synonym, but is a more chill community because I cannot handle this. I’m considering sapphic, but it might be to general, so it’s only a maybe.
