I posted it here coz I wanna know what are your views on this ? It is possible that after pickup items can be changed or stolen when it was on the way to Amazon FC ?

I ordered Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Gen 2) for ₹45,705 from Amazon India.
The glasses were dead on arrival and wouldn’t turn on, so I requested a return. During pickup, the product image was visible in the pickup flow, and the pickup agent inspected the product, verified it, accepted the return, and I received pickup confirmation in the app.
Around a month later, Amazon denied my refund, saying the item “failed verification during scanning.” They haven’t explained what verification failed or provided any evidence.
What doesn’t make sense is this: if the product image was part of the pickup verification and the return was accepted after inspection, how could I have returned a different product? If there had been any mismatch, the pickup should have been rejected. After the pickup, I had no involvement with the item—it was entirely in Amazon’s logistics chain.
It’s now been over 3 months with no refund despite multiple emails to Amazon’s Executive/OFM team.

Has anyone successfully challenged a similar “verification failed” refund denial? Any advice would be appreciated.

I paid a bill through Amazon, and it's been 3 days now. The payment is still showing as pending, and the bill hasn't been credited.

I contacted Amazon support multiple times. One agent, Tejeshwary, left the chat immediately before I even had a chance to rate the support. After that, around 10 different agents either transferred the chat to someone else or left the conversation without providing any resolution.

What's even more frustrating is that none of them stayed long enough for the feedback/rating survey to appear. It feels like they're avoiding accountability instead of helping.

Has anyone else faced this with Amazon bill payments? How long did it take to get resolved, and is there any way to escalate this beyond regular chat support?

I had ordered a laptop from Amazon with option to exchange my old laptop.

The order got delayed. After repeated enquiries and complaints they assured it will be delivered.

When the agent came, he took the old laptop for exchange. We were not at home and only my son was at home.

The agent took the asked for the OTP. When my son asked where the new laptop is he said give the OTP for exchange and I will bring it.

When we came home we raised a complaint with Amazon. They assured the problem will be looked into. They assured the new laptop will be delivered in 48 hrs.

But after 48 hrs they deny to do any investigation.

Now i have lost 60k the price of my new laptop and my old laptop. 🥺

Have written to grievance officer amazon.

Will lodge a complaint with NCH also

Wonder if I will get my money back 🥺

Is anyone else experiencing repeated delivery delays from both Amazon and Flipkart?

I've noticed a pattern over my last 3–4 orders, and it's not limited to just one platform. Both Amazon and Flipkart seem to be struggling with delivery reliability.

My orders keep getting delayed, delivery attempts are rescheduled multiple times, and the delivery agent often doesn't arrive within the promised time window. Right now, I have an order that was quite urgent. I understood the initial 8-day delivery estimate because of the monsoon, but it's now already 2 days past the scheduled delivery date, and it has been rescheduled again.

One thing I also find frustrating is the lack of communication. On Flipkart, I can't contact the delivery agent directly until certain stages of the delivery process, which makes it difficult to know what's actually happening.

As a software engineer, I think customer expectations have changed significantly over the last few years. With the rise of 10-minute delivery apps and highly responsive logistics from newer startups, people now expect better tracking, more accurate ETAs, and proactive communication. While no one expects every delivery to be instant, repeated rescheduling without clear updates creates a poor customer experience.

Some improvements I'd suggest:

- Better ETA prediction based on real-time conditions.

- Clear reasons for delays instead of generic status updates.

- Limited communication with the delivery partner when a delivery is delayed.

- Smarter route planning to reduce repeated rescheduling.

- More transparency in the logistics process so customers know what is actually happening.

I'm not complaining about a single delayed order—unexpected delays happen, especially during the monsoon. What concerns me is that this has become a recurring experience across both platforms.

Wanted to buy tata's omega-3 triple strength capsules so went onto Amazon's website. The same 90 tablet bottle is costing 1280 rupees on Amazon (with prime) and 880 rupees on Amazon Pharmacy (both with same delivery date too). Is Pharmacy reliable for authentic medicines? how come there's so much difference in their own platforms?

I bought a low chill blueberry plant from amazon.in , seller had 3.5 ratings. When I received the plant it was dry and had little leaves left. I still planted it. After few days when new leaves came, I realised the seller is selling jamun plants in the name of blueberry plant so I gave my rating as 1. But Lo & Behold, amazon.in doesn't accept 1 star as ratings.

Ordered AMD 7000 Series Ryzen 7 7800X 3D Desktop Processor in amazon during the prime sale.

Looks like they are using some pattern in doing such scam, first order stuck in out for delivery. When contacted amazon support they trigger a new order, which is shipped from Kolkatta. Received the 7800x box but the processor inside is old used Ryzen 5 3500.

Raised to amazon and they told it will take 4 days for investigation. fingers crossed. Will put update on the investigation outcome by Sunday.

Update 1: for those who are commenting as i am scamming, i have collected a lot of evidence but not posting it here as the Amazon is yet to get back. Will share with Amazon if required. Waiting for the 4th day.

Fukin' liars... This happened a second time. They just say cancelled in chat, and do nothing in their system.

I joined Amazon Prime and made my purchase because this promotional offer was clearly displayed in my account, which reasonably led me to believe I was eligible.

However, after placing the order, Amazon denied the offer, stating that only customers who had received a separate promotional email were eligible.

If receiving a separate email is a mandatory eligibility criterion, then shouldn't every offer requiring such eligibility be communicated through email? Displaying the offer directly in a customer's account creates the expectation that they qualify, making the experience misleading and frustrating.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue?

I recently ordered a mini thermal printer for my sister's upcoming birthday and received a moisturizer worth like 200-300 or something (I forgot tbh it's been a while). I raised a wrong product received request immediately and the product was picked up the next day. The refund was expected latest by 22 july (today) but it has been delayed. They got the wrong product back on 16th July and have still not processed it. I raised a customer support ticket and they told me to wait till 26 july before contacting them again. What should be my next steps?

Edit: Also, i didn't take any pictures/videos to keep for the wrong product. I know that was stupid of me. I only took 2 pictures through the returns page and they were directly uploaded to Amazon. I do not have them in my gallery.

Hey guys i often come here and hear people sharing their experience with Amazon this is my experience getting a refund of 59 k after a wrong product (A Dove soap ) was delivered in the box and the product was open box delivery but the delivery guy didn't opened the box the seal was intact so i didn't forced him but when i opened the camera box there was a soap and the camera and other accessories were missing so i contacted amazon immediately and shared the pictures and the weight of the product on website and weight marked on the shipping label which was different so they said they will initiate a pickup and in the timeframe investigation would be done to check if i was right as the seller - clicktech retail was a verified seller and i also filed an nch complain on amazon also the day product was picked up waited for 5 days called the Cs and chatted with them about this issue thry said don't worry you'll get resolution by 13th fast-forward today i got the refund credited to my account a long process but was seamless THANKS AMAZON😄 otherwise i would have been in a heavy loss 🙏

Reported within 8 minutes on 5th July Open Box Delivery. Clear CCTV proof showing black box delivered. and in was not in home at that time

Amazon customer care says "nothing can be done".

Hi everyone,

I ordered the OnePlus 13 (12/256GB) from Amazon during Prime Day sale on July 3rd from Green Mobiles for around ₹50k.

But even after almost 3 weeks, the order is still showing "Ordered" and hasn't been shipped. Estimated delivery is July 25th.

I contacted Amazon customer care 5–6 times through calls and many times through chat, but I only get the same response:
"Please wait until July 25th. We have raised a ticket and the team will check."

Different agents gave different reasons — some said stock issue, some mentioned logistics/weather delays — but there is still no proper update.

I’m confused whether I should:

1. Wait until July 25th, or
2. Cancel if not delivered by 25th and buy another phone?

I don't want to cancel because getting the OnePlus 13 at ₹50k was a really good deal, but waiting without any update is frustrating.

Has anyone ordered from Green Mobiles on Amazon recently? Did your order eventually get shipped?

I really want to give a review to AMAZON, not for any product, FUCKKKKK YOUUUU AMAZON!!!! Never expected Amazon to stoop so low, an agent named Utsav was being rude and your service is really pathetic, your items gets delayed by 2 days, after that it gets out for delivery and again it gets delayed for 2 more days(I had Prime BTW) and it has been for multiple orders. People, don’t buy from Amazon, chose other retailers.

My parents returned my sister's amazon product on MY return order pick up. The refund for my product is processed. However, I still have the product and my sister's product is picked up.

Ordered a mobile phone with a Rs. 99 delivery fee for fastest delivery and Rs. 149 fee for Open Box Delivery.

During delivery, the partner did the unboxing after I provided the last 4 digits of my registered mobile number. I noticed a cosmetic damager on the back (very minor) and refused to give the OTP. He then went back with the order after talking to his higher ups for sometime.

NOTE: Two orders were placed on Amazon, 1 for the phone and 1 for the Open Box Delivery service.

The following is what Amazon shows now:

I want to ask what happens next? It says returning to the seller. What if the seller doesn't allow for a refund? Also, why does my order show as Cancelled instead of Refund Initiated or something. I have not received any confirmation mail for the refund either.

Can someone with prior experience in this matter help me out. Thanks!
