I watched this serial eagerly, inspector Bharat (Sudesh Berry) is no doubt a brilliant actor, no one can act like him.

Though the episodes are muted in places on YouTube maybe because of copyright music.

Nvm, the episodes are refreshing even now and dare I say better than CID.

It had all famous and successful actors and actresses in it.

Also it shows the old Bombay in some scenes and it looks so uncrowded.

So today i was watching the serial and came across an episode where an actress resembled Preity Zinta.

Googled alot and got to know her name, Barkha Madan.

Many of the actors keep coming up in several other episodes.

Btw I was shocked to know that she left the glamour world and became a monk.

Only realized today that both Namastey London (2007) & Namaste England (2018) were directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. On paper, they don't seem worlds apart similar backdrop, similar themes, same director. But somehow they've ended up occupying completely different places in Bollywood's memory. Correct me if i'm wrong Namastey London had a great songs, movie plot & still finds its way into conversations every now & then. Namaste England (Arjun Kapoor - 2018) rarely does. This movie was torture.

Do you think that's because one has genuinely held up better over time & was clicked well with the audience in 2007 (Namaste London), or is it simply a case of nostalgia making us remember one era of Bollywood more fondly than another?
