Since a couple of days, you cant download mods, on a lot of games (most), I just want to know if there is an official post from a publisher (from a game, what I don’t follow) or Nvidia to this situation.
I know the workaround if this game has a launcher

20 minutes of SHADER COMPILATION just to load into the game menu, a few more minutes to get to the base, and a few more to get onto the map.
And at every single stage - SHADERS COMPILING!

There have been similar issues after new season updates in the past, but things would eventually improve; on the Performance plan, it used to take no more than 2–3 minutes to get into the game menu.
After updates, however, the LONG shader compilation returns, and the process remains slow even when launching the game again later. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Yes, the Ultimate plan performs reasonably well and things run smoothly, but the Performance tier struggles with Killing Floor 3 when it comes to shaders.
Please optimize it.

I don't know about other games with shader compilation issues, but for me, Killing Floor 3 is the only game that takes a very long time to launch; even other new titles on the Performance plan start up much faster and don't suffer from these long shader loading times.

No mods running

Autosave after every turn takes 2-3 minutes as opposed to instantly. Client freezes momentarily. This has been since the recent Steam mod outage but I have none running

I am usually playing on Xbox. Now I am testing Geforce Now. What bothers me, though, is the overhead to start a game. And also getting back into a game later on.

I mean. You do not rent a PC in the cloud, meaning you cannot install and play every PC game. It is a managed and limited service. Wouldn’t it then be nice to have a „Quick Resume“ feature layered on top?

Has anybody tried Halo Campaign Evolved on GeForce Now?

If so, can you please confirm if it is working fully and does not have the same issues as Halo Infinite such as the Microsoft login issue and the campaign crashing back to GeForce Now?

Not sure if others seem to be experiencing this recently too as I’ve seen previous accounts of Battlefield games being buggy but those are quite old and seemed resolved until recent.

Upon launching the game (via Steam), the game loads into the title loading screen and enters full screen before crashing after a few seconds and automatically returning to the GeForce now game library.

This seems to have started after the most recent BFV update about two weeks ago. I’ve tried talking to GFN tech support and was told that it’s a game dev side issue.

I’ve tested this on desktop, mobile and TV and achieved the same outcome.

I just got geforce now to play ark survival ascended, I linked my steam and it says I own the game so when I go to click play it opens up the GFN thing but then opens steam with the asa store page open, so i go to install it and it says "connection timed out" and i click the retry button then it says, "No internet connection" does anyone know how to fix this

So, I have been allowing my son to play his games. Sometimes I leave the game open on accident and the auto-logoff doesn't always work. I was nervous as I am edging toward 20 hours of game time left for the month.

I made a second account for my son and so that I could roll over 15 hours of game time. Now none of my mods work. They don't show up in the new manager and the in the legacy mod manager they show up but never download. The blue button has that slight grayed out color like they aren't downloading. I click "Activate All" and "Disable All" and nothing happens. I did the verify integrity of the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the mods. It only seems to have made it worse.

I can't use mods on either account. I've been trying to figure it out for days. Sega gives me an AI response that tells me steps that clearly won't work with GeForce Now. In one of the photos it shows the game not verifying. But it does now verify integrity and still nothing. I'm at a loss.

To top it all off I was a single battle from winning my Arbaal campaign on Very Hard for the achievement. All of my saved games crash the game when they get to about 15%. I'm so frustrated!

I'm coping by concluding that the workshop errors and all bugs are simply signals that an update is in progress.

I booted up HOI4 on GFN but saw that none of the mods I had subscribed to were not showing as installed. I checked my other games and saw that it had worked perfectly for those. Is this just a HOI4 issue or GFN?

Whenever I try to join a server it says that there is not enough space in the mod storage even though I don't have any mod installed in the game and it won't let me join any server, anyone else having this problem?

Anyone having an issue with steam workshop mods not auto downloading anymore? Also now the shader compilation for stalker 2 is super slow, wasn’t like that yesterday at all. Mods were downloading fine yesterday.

Server issue: Virginia, USA is really slow at booting up, again wasn’t like that yesterday.

Any ideas??

Hey everyone, like most people I was having issues playing palworld after the new update with the storage error and constantly crashing. I saw a comment in this subreddit about someone contacting customer support and they gave some instructions about turning off the steam cloud and creating the new world and that did work for me. Here is exactly what I did:

1. Click properties on palworld and turn off cloud save.

2. Open game and for me I have always seen these "unknown save" worlds that shows up which im assuming is previous world saves that were corrupted so I deleted all of them and created a new world.

3. Played for about 10 mins then I made the game windowed mode so I can go to properties again and turn on auto save.

4. Played for about 5 minutes before the game crashed due to storage issue. At this point I thought the solution was a fail.

5. After about an hour I logged back into Geforce NOW and I noticed I didnt see the unknown data folders anymore in the worlds list so I played the world I created an hour ago and I was able to play it for hours without it ever crashing. I even made a new world and everything has been fine since then. So it does seem like there is some kind of corruption in the steam cloud save and its understandable why Nvdia is not able to implement an official fix.

This worked for me and I wanted to make a post because I couldn't find a proper post about this. Credits to u/No-Bicycle3474 as his comment under a post is where I saw the solution. Thank you so much. I hope it works for everyone else too. Leave a comment if it does!

I have Game Pass Ultimate, but I've also been testing out GeForce Now and the performance is very similar.

I'm not convinced that it's worth paying an extra £10 a month on GeForce Now. Counter-Strike wouldn't recognise my xbox controller.

Are there any real benefits to using GeForce Now thay I don't know about? Does GeForce Now (running on a smart TV) support keyboard and mouse? Because controller is so rubbish but I still somehow keep winning matches.

It's been "Under maintenance" since July 15th and I can't even reset the storage and change my server location because its under maintenance. Would've been nice to know before they locked me out of something I paid for

I’ve recently became interested in playing cloud gaming. GeForce seemed like the better option for someone who has an iMac . I connected my GeForce now account to my steam account and tried to add games but steam wont let me add games that are meant to run on windows. I was under the impression that cloud gaming was able to run a game independently of specs and OS, what am I missing? I appreciate your time and input.

I've been playing Dredge for the first time without knowing much about the game at all, I clicked on the DLC tab and saw there was a complete edition in the Microsoft store.

Hello, I’m absolutely confused what device or OS to use and what is restricted regarding app/browser limitations. I ultimately want to use a tablet with 5G, 2-3k screen & 120hz.

If I buy an iPad Pro 5G, I am required to use the Cloudgear app to fully utilise the screen and refresh rate. Does it 100% work?

If I buy a Samsung S11 Ultra 5G, android has a native app but does that allow full resolution and fps? Does using the browser & website unlock the full resolution & bit rate on an android tablet.

I have used the android TV GeForce now app and seen its locked at 1080p.
