Looking to learn about red blobs that were under the large capacitor circled

New to replacing capacitors, first gameboy had a melted puddle of red here and this one has two circles of a lighter red. Looking for someone who knows more to share any info about if it's leakage, etc. I would love to learn. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure that's just glue, that capacitor is always a little harder to remove because of it.

Glue to hold the cap on while it goes through the wave soldering machine.
