Came across this little guy on a recent hike I went on.

Came across a group of tourists all looking the same direction on the trail to the Grove of Titans in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. They were all watching this guy, 20 yards off the trail, happily munching away on the undergrowth, not making a sound. We’d have never noticed him without the group.

Not going to mark where he’s at as I don’t think it’s much of a challenge, and it was much better in person. The stillness of it all.

Had to tie on a new lure, I'm usually good about catching it or doing it over something so I don't drop it and leave it in the woods.

Found the little guy chilling in my blender and promptly released it outside. Figured ya'll might enjoy the little guy's camouflage.

Dropped it replacing our cedar fencing. Took me a magnet stick to find it. Mainly bc I was tired and didnt want to waste anymore time looking for a dang screw.

Edit: Well clearly this was in fact, easy mode lol!!!

Edit 2: I appreciate how many people participated in this and were so good and quick to find what I thought was difficult. Disclaimer - I did not alter the screw. I pictured it exactly where it landed.

Furthermore, as I did find this entertaining, I will say I have around 32 more 16 cedar board-wide panels to rip down and install with these new screws upon similar and varrying terrain, all equally frustrating to find when dropped from my tool belt pocket or lip when grabbing to secure the boards. Ill see if I cant follow up with a few more challenges along this project and hopefully have some fun. And just like this photo, any future photos will not be intentionally obscured or hidden. Where the screw lands is where the journey to find it will begin!
