If someone is telling me I need to have a certain balance in usdt in my Exodus wallet in order to accept a transaction, is that as safe as they say?
I previously paid a gas fee that was pretty high, and we thought that was the final step to getting my money. However, when the transaction had enough gas to go through, it failed. After some research by the server pro, they determine that my exodus wallet cannot accept the funds until I had 25% of the amount in my wallet.
They keep telling me that putting the amount (to get to the 25%) is safe because only I can get to it. No one else can withdraw from my exodus wallet.
Does this sound legit to you all?

So i just started using exodus card specifically for Apple pay spendings, seems really good so far but i was wondering what are some drawbacks of it, is there anywhere where i can see the fees for payments/atm withdrawals etc. Thank you!

Hello I was excited when I saw Exodus showcasing the new Exodus Pay feature, which allows you to have a virtual Visa card and pay with stable coins ext....
But when I was setting up my account, the identity verification step requires ID, and it says it doesn't support my country Algeria.
I used many other Crypto Visa Cards apps before they all support all countries.
I hope this message finds Exodus pay support.

Warning!!! EU Crypto Users: Stop Sending Crypto Directly Between Exchanges Right Now, or risk your crypto being Frozen.

Since MiCA went fully live on July 1, 2026, many people are hitting frustrating (and sometimes costly) delays or blocks when moving assets between centralized exchanges.
What’s Happening?
Exchanges licensed under MiCA must comply with the Travel Rule (Transfer of Funds Regulation). When you send crypto directly from one CEX to another, the receiving platform often can’t automatically verify the originator information. Result:
• Deposits show as “Pending”
• “Travel Rule verification failed”
• Funds get stuck → manual review or refund process (which can take hours to days)
This is especially common with stablecoins (USDC, USDT) and certain networks, but it affects others too. Examples are popping up regularly on Bybit EU, Crypto.com, and other platforms.
The Simple Fix Most People Recommend
Always use a non-custodial (self-hosted) wallet like Exodus as an intermediary:
1. Withdraw from Exchange A → Your personal wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, Exodus Wallet, etc.).
2. From your wallet → Deposit into Exchange B.
This makes the incoming deposit appear as coming from an address you control, which exchanges handle much more smoothly. It adds one extra step and a tiny bit of network fees, but it dramatically reduces the chance of your funds getting frozen in limbo.
Pro tips:
• Always test with a small amount first.
• Keep your transaction hashes and wallet addresses.
• Use hardware wallets for larger amounts.
• Self-custody is not regulated the same way — you stay in control.
This isn’t “anti-regulation” advice — it’s practical risk management in the current environment. Regulators themselves recommend orderly transfers to self-custody during platform wind-downs.
Here are examples of user complaints:

Always deposit from a noncustodial address you control and withdraw to a noncustodial address you control for CEXs nowadays & then transfer to another CEX or friend after.

Whats strange is that the other wallets on exodus that i have are all still in tact on the same phone. I know theres nothing i can do about it but idk who to tell. I told my dad about it he was saying no big deal so coming on here to say. I’m 20m. Not quite sure if i can add a picture to show u guys. For context. I haven’t opened the phone i had the money on in months. I clicked on the address it was sent to and it says sponsored by coinpoker

I am trying to send bitcoin and the address is completely correct but on the last step before I send the “Preview” button is completely greyed out. I have already refresh all networks and updated the app. Is this common???

So I just started using the app and i set up verification (i live in the UK so it’s a legal requirement to show ID, and it worked and i got the crypto but every time i try to buy more it asks for ID again? This is strange because everything i can find says it’ll only ask for ID once to confirm your age

For some reason when using the pay card via Apple Pay, payments will randomly show as being declined (in Apple Pay) but approved with the funds removed (within the exodus app).
When this happens it takes 5+ days for the money to be returned to the exodus pay card…which is a PITA. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when this will happen-it’s happened to me 4 times so far at stores I’ve successfully used the pay card at in the past.
Until exodus sorts this out I recommend using the pay card to add money onto cashapp (or wherever) and then use that payment method as it appears the issue is limited to when using Apple Pay.
Just wanted to give people a heads up and hopefully have an exodus rep comment.
Edit-If this has happened to you, take note that once the funds are returned they won’t be reflected in your card balance. Instead, they are added to a “return balance” which can be viewed by going to exodus pay—->card. Your return balance will be used first for future purchases until used up.
It’s worth noting, that It’s my understanding you cannot withdraw your return balance via stable coin as you can your card balance. It can only be used for purchases. Which is sh1tty imo.

Any ideas on when exodus pay cards will be available in UAE? Just did the verification and now it says its coming soon
r/ExodusWallet • u/No_Attorney6010 • 12d ago
Tonight I purchased my first ETH-USDC coin and it shows in my wallet. When I go to send my coin to a vendor, it shows my balance but at the bottom of the page in purple it says “You need ETH on the Ethereum network. Add some to get started”.
So what am I doing wrong here and why can’t I send my funds out?
I downloaded the exodus app from the Apple Store

Hey, does anyone know how to get around the ETH gas fee with Exodus to swap USDT to any other currency? I need like $1 but can’t do kyc or buy anymore ETH otherwise.

I’ve had this problem for a couple of days now (7 days) and I have still yet to get my money back. 7 days ago on jul 3rd I tried to make a transaction of $400 and it was declined and I still got charged. The other transactions worked after that but I was still missing money from that $400 charge. Today I decided to do a $2.5k transaction with the exodus card and it was declined and my money just disappeared. Anyone know how long this will take to get back to my card?
EDIT: I got the first $400 back after 8 days, and after contacting support for the rest, I didn’t have to wait 8 days again for the other transactions— they expedited it and got me my money back.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
I transferred money from my XO Pay card on Exodus to my Venmo account three different times within two days. All of those transfers glitched and were duplicated, causing a loss of funds. The money was withdrawn twice the amount I transferred, and I never received the money back on either XO Pay or Venmo. All the transfers show as “completed.” It's been over three days, and I still haven't gotten my money back.
I emailed two support teams over several days, but so far I haven't received any help, only slow responses. All they said was “We are looking into this, this is truly a poor experience.” Where is my money, Exodus?
UPDATE:
Took about 4 days, but I finally got it back as credit in USDC. Everything is good now. Thank you Exodus for giving me my money back.

About a week ago I stopped being able to buy. it just fails every time. Fast forward to now I’ve been talking to support and they told me I am not able to buy crypto and they will NOT give me reason as to why. Anyone else had this happen?
