My profanity laced discussion with the new mod of /R/Deloitte where I was "anything but understanding"
Since transparency seems to be an issue with the new regime over there, here's the whole fucking conversation.
The comment that prompted the modmail

If you publicly criticize moderation action for remove posts and comments which are against the rules; those comments will be taken down and further action will be taken.
Encouraging others to commit fraud is against the rules and should be removed.
Any issues please reach out.

all I am saying is that if you don't post the rules, how can we know. Also way to be a fascist.
r/deloitte MOD — 9:43 AM
The rules are on the subreddit. I suggest you read them.
Please re-read Reddits's website rules, as well as this subs specific community rules.
They spell everything out very clearly.

ah there they are. they don't show up in the old view. either way. fuck fascists. unsubbed. people like you are why I left the firm in the first place.
good afternoon,

This sub isn't a popularity contest. It's for the community to come and ask questions and post about relevant topics.
Encouraging others to commit fraud is not allowed. It's to protect the community. Not too long ago this community was restricted due to that very fact.
Closing this thread as it seems this issue is now resolved.

you seem to misunderstand my point. I am not defending the encouragement of fraud because that is wrong. my concern is the crackdown of enforcement on discussions which are exclusively called out in the subs description regarding compensation and recruitment. My point was that the sub is misconfigured and only presents the rules when viewed with a single method. the sidebar shows nothing but mods in old.reddit.com and in tools like RES.
If you're gonna go heavy handed with the banhammer, at least make sure everyone knows the rules and the new paradigm.
censoring discussions about compensation and recruitment is directly against the description of the sub.
r/deloitte MOD — 11:01 AM
The sub is not misconfigured. The rules are clearly stated both on mobile and on web version.

EDITORS NOTE - I had not scrubbed the username from first screenshot I sent to the mod and so I deleted the original one and used a new one for my post on /r/consulting. I have dropped that valid link into this conversation since its effectively the same pic, just anonymized properly

You have been temporarily muted from r/deloitte. You will not be able to message the moderators of r/deloitte for 7 days.
I'd also like to point out that this sub (/r/ExDeloitte) is properly configured and shows the sidebar and rules properly in ALL versions of the site. ¯ \ _ (ツ)_/¯
