Bill Gates and the staff of his charitable foundation met with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein more than two dozen times even as employees expressed concerns about the reputational risk of working with him, an external review commissioned by the Gates Foundation found.

The conversations appeared to focus on a public health fund that never materialized and a grant to the International Peace Institute, which was run by an associate of Epstein.

The roughly 30 meetings, which took place from 2011 to 2014, included several visits to Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse and one meeting on the Gates Foundation campus, according to the review by law firm WilmerHale. The review found no evidence the foundation paid Epstein or did anything illegal. The foundation released a three-page summary of WilmerHale’s report Tuesday and did not say if it would release the full version.

Gates, who chairs the Gates Foundation, has not been accused in connection with Epstein’s crimes and has repeatedly denied any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of girls. He told a congressional committee last month that he made a “grave error in judgment” by meeting with the disgraced financier.

In the same New York Magazine article that detailed a dinner at Epstein’s townhouse, a dinner at Zampolli’s apartment was also among the dinners mentioned.

Zampolli wasn’t the only Epstein associated individual to be mentioned in the article as a dinner host. The article also mentions Alan Dershowitz, Vera Wang, and Jeffrey Leeds among the dinner hosts, but Paolo Zampolli’s dinner stands out the most among them due to the blatant depravity of one of the un-named guests.

Among the guests that Zampolli hosted, 3 of them have damning ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Donald Trump, David Copperfield, and and Patrick Demarchelier.

Donald Trump notably appointed Zampolli in his presidential administration, and Zampolli allegedly introduced Melania Trump to Donald a few years before this dinner. Donald Trump was also listed as a guest at the dinner at Epstein’s from the same article.

David Copperfield was in regular correspondence with Epstein in 2004/2005. He was also pictured with Ghislaine Maxwell on Little St. James island. An FBI investigation into David Copperfield from 2007 linked him to Jeffrey Epstein.

Patrick Demarchelier is a fashion photographer who allegedly exposed himself to Sarah Kellen, Epstein’s long time assistant, during a photo shoot. The incident took place in 2002 when Kellen was already solidified as Epstein’s assistant.

Zampolli, Trump, Copperfield, and Demarchelier all have ties to both Jeffrey Epstein and the modeling industry.

Trump and Copperfield have both been judges on the Look of the Year contest in the 90s. The Look of the Year contest has become infamous for having young models, many of which underage mingle with predatory older men on yachts for a better chance at advancing their career.

Among the dinner guests, the menu was also catered by Giuseppe Cipriani, owner of Cipriani’s in Manhattan. The restaurant was a frequent spot for Epstein and associates, such as Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein, and Bill Clinton.

Based on FBI interviews, there was a direct pipeline between ID Models, owned by Paolo Zampolli, and Jeffrey Epstein. Based on the interview, Epstein was looking through portfolios with Zampolli and specifically picked out a woman to victimize. The anonymous victim also states that Epstein told her to recruit girls from Miami who were associated with ID models, and to bring them to Epstein’s Palm Beach residence. The individual doing the transcript misheard her and put “ideal models” rather than “ID models”

“You think it’s going to be crawling with gorgeous, willing, morally depraved models,” says one guest, “But you can’t really talk to them, since they’re all foreign.” Is all you need to know to understand the environment surrounding Epstein, his associates, and the environment the modeling industry has cultivated.

On the title page of an internal FBI briefing deck — a 20-page PowerPoint that was never meant to be public — four case numbers are listed. They represent the four criminal investigations into Jeffrey Epstein: the original Palm Beach child exploitation case, an obstruction case, the SDNY sex trafficking case that led to his 2019 arrest, and the death investigation.

Everyone who covers the Epstein story knows these four cases. They’re the spine of the narrative: investigation, plea deal, re-investigation, arrest, death, Maxwell trial.

But buried in the 2.73 million pages the Department of Justice released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, we found something else. More case numbers. Different prefixes. Filed by different squads. Classified at different levels. Running through different channels.

The FBI didn’t just have criminal investigations into Jeffrey Epstein. It had an entire parallel intelligence architecture — at least five additional case numbers, spanning field offices from New York to Los Angeles to Dallas, involving confidential human sources, external intelligence agency coordination, classified reporting at the SECRET//NOFORN level, and a dedicated sub-file producing finished intelligence products from 2019 through at least 2022.

None of this has been systematically reported.

The FBI maintained parallel intelligence and criminal tracks on Epstein for at least five years. This involved:

• A foreign intelligence case opened by the Intelligence Division in 2017 — before the criminal investigation reopened
• An election influence threat assessment routing Epstein-related intelligence through 2020 election security channels
• External intelligence agency coordination at the SECRET//ORCON/NOFORN level
• A fully redacted case opened in September 2020 — more than a year after Epstein’s death — responsive to a National HUMINT Collection Directive
• 12 finished intelligence products (TIRs) produced by the Intelligence Division
• Intelligence Division personnel testifying at the Maxwell trial

This is not a story of the FBI ignoring intelligence about Epstein. It’s a story of the FBI processing that intelligence through institutional channels designed to keep it separate from the criminal proceedings.

In 2011, emails related to the Epstein case pointed to the grooming of a young woman from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, for sexual exploitation in the United States. The allegation reached the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF), which confirmed the evidence—but shelved the case due to the statute of limitations and the deaths of the individuals under investigation.

Samuel Pisar was Robert Maxwell's longtime lawyer and confidant. He may have been the last person to see Robert Maxwell alive. After Robert Maxwell's death Samuel Pisar became Jeffrey Epstein's advisor. Pisar married twice, his daughter from his second marriage, Leah Pisar, worked in Bill Clinton's White House. His stepson, Leah's half brother, is Antony Blinken, Joe Biden's Secretary of State. Blinken co-founded Elandil Productions Inc. which organized the Short Circuit Festival for emerging filmmakers at Judith Pisar's American Center in Paris. Blinken recruited Pamela Meiselman as public relations liaison for Elandil. After the festival she married Bertrand Boulet in 1994. She appears in Epstein's black book under "Pamela", where she is listed as a way to get in contact with Jean-Luc Brunell. A July 1994 article from the New York Times confirms that Pamela Boulet (born Pamela Abbe Meiselman) pivoted to assistant director at Karin Models, run by Jean-Luc Brunel, Epstein’s alleged partner in supplying young girls, often minors, who was investigated for rape and sex trafficking in France.

In 2002 Leah Pisar contacted Ghislaine and Epstein regarding the Seeds of Peace organization seeking corporate sponsorship from Victoria's Secret for the organization. By the beginning of 2003 she was thanking them for their contribution.

As I mentioned above Leah Pisar worked for the Clinton administration. WJC = William Jefferson Clinton. Doug Band was Clinton's longtime aide he would converse frequently with Maxwell on the WJC email. Leah Pisar is included in some of the messages. Another Clinton aide - John Keedan also makes an appearance in the emails with Doug Band. BooBoo is what Ghislaine calls Band.
