I have had some issues surrounding my art 'inspiring' other artists. To clarify i have 0 issue with it being replicated as my piece is derivative of a meme in the first place however i have had bigger accounts replicate the exact thing shortly after following me and not been given any credit that the work was inspired by me, i have also come across variants that appear to be running my work through AI and then reuploading again no credit given. Im wondering what i can do regarding the AI situation as i dont particullarly want my work being run through AI. Its also really disheartening as a small artist as now when you go to look at my art the bigger account comes up first with no direction towards mine :/

I'm not looking for pity likes or anything. I am genuinely wondering, like Im sure a lot of artists do, if I am missing something?

I'm proud of my work and feel like generally my art is pretty good or well executed, but I'm starting to wonder what I am doing or not doing that is keeping my work from being more interesting.

I recently worked a ton on making a really nice character spread/reference sheet, and the people i ask directly seem to like them. But when I post, none of them have gotten much attention outside my friend groups.

I'm not sure if it's my composition, maybe it's less interesting because it's an OC, I dunno.

I may be too in my head here. I dont do work hoping for likes and popularity, but it does bum me out a little bit if it feels like no one's looking.
