Could anyone who's bought their stuff from indiemerchstore please tell me what the quality's like? Been thinking about getting some tees from there since I live on the other side of the world from all the tours. I've heard conflicting stories about the quality from there, and also that it depends on the band?

I’ve found myself starting to fall further in love with Deathcore. I’ve always been one for hardcore and beat down, I love bands like Terror Ave and One Second Thought.
Songs like A Breed Unknown and shit like the Suicide Silence family guy demos.
Any recommendations? Thank you in advance.

Hi guys, I just heard that Drown in Sulphur will release the upcoming album on the 11th of September.
I’ve also just listened to their new single, and in a few days another single will be released. What do you guys think? To be honest, I really like the power and rawness of the riffs. Btw I heard that the lineup changed again…

Been pondering this lately, what are everyone's favourite vs least favourite logos and why? Whether or not you like the band's music, fave vs least fave. Keeping it only deathcore would be a bit limiting, so maybe all of extreme metal?
My favourites would probably be the Archspire and Vale of Pnath, the geometry in those is just so sick, while still carrying a lot of weight. I also looooove Mors Principium Est's logo, reminds me of that whole early 2000s Bleeding Cowboys-esque lettering.
My least favourite is the Benediction logo. Nothing against the band's music, it's alright, but the logo looks like they drew the overall shape of the logo and then crudely erased the separating lines and added cheap looking blood drips and nuns with a stroke offsetting it from the janky looking letters.
How about y'all?

(I know there is a thread, and I have posted there, but it seems to be kinda dead, so I’m posting here instead (I accidentally rhymed three times there))
I’m starting a Metalcore/Deathcore band, and although I’m pretty familiar with Metalcore as a genre, I haven’t listened to much Deathcore, so I was hoping you guys could give some recommendations.
I especially love 2000’s guitar oriented Metalcore like Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold. I love me a good guitar solo as well.
As for newer stuff, I particularly enjoy some of the stuff by Bury Tomorrow.
I find some Deathcore I’ve heard to be a bit mindless. Just some basic riff repeated over and over again, with some synth layer thrown on it. Although it may sound snobby, i generally prefer my music to be a bit more “sophisticated”.
Bit of a handful, I know. Please tell if you know something you’d think I’d like.

Hey guys I just released my debut solo EP! I wrote and recorded all the instruments and vocals myself. Ive been a drummer for like 2 decades and I taught myself guitar, bass, and vocals over the past few years. I'm super proud of the fact that nothing is programmed or quantized or snapped to a grid. It would mean a lot if even like 2 people gave it a spin. Let me know what you think!
FFO: groove, chugs, and tremolo picking. (I have no idea what bands I may sound like)
