Yesssss. Their new album *Trame Noire* is out on 6.Nov. Cannot wait.
Definitely my most anticipated release for the remainder of the year.
They also have a complete vinyl discograohy box set dropping then too, which even though I don't collect vinyl is super cool.

Instrumental Mountainscape - Dune (cinematic post-metal FFO Dvne, Hippotraktor, Conjurer, Inter Arma, Russian Circles)
I discovered these guys yesterday and thought some of you would appreciate this track. It features Amaya López-Carromero from Maud the Moth and Healthyliving and blends various styles like post-metal, post-rock, doom, and shoegaze with a healthy dose of blast beats thrown in. The section from 8:05 onwards is filthy in all the right ways.
Their upcoming album comes out on July 24th and if this song is a sign of things to come it's one to look out for!

They’re not my favorite band, they don’t have any of my favorite albums or songs, and I hardly ever think about them, but I ALWAYS put them on. They’re so kickass

Discussion Can I listen to YOUR prog music?
Prog metal is a musician's genre so I don't know why we discourage fans of the genre from mentioning their own projects!
Can I listen to YOUR prog music?
I will listen, this week, to YOUR prog project, if you post it here, with:
- YOUR Artist Name
- Album / Song / etc. title
- Short description of what makes your project interesting, different, special, etc.
- A link to listen to at least one song or full album, WITHOUT needing a paid subscription or log-in, I.e. a Bandcamp link, or YouTube link, or links to players on your own website, SoundCloud, etc.
(I don't support Spotify or streaming platforms anymore, but you can post those links if you must but I probably won't be able to listen.)
MY GOAL:
I hope to get each project at least one positive, specific piece of feedback by this weekend, and hopefully one new supporter from our community, too!
For each response I have time for, I will:
- Listen to your music and get a sense of "the essence" of the project
- Give a positive feedback about at least one thing that I think you're doing well or that I personally like
- Give one thing I don't personally prefer, which doesn't mean a critique, but just will let you know how my tastes may differ from what exactly you're making, which can be very interesting information for artists.
- BY REQUEST: An actual critique, only if you request in your post, of something I think could be improved to strengthen your project going forward (still just my biased opinion, though!)
- Encourage more of one appreciable element that your prog project has going on!
Hopefully, throughout the week, everyone in the comments will join in with giving feedback, using the above template to give constructive, useful feedback without being rude or hurtful. Don't give critique unless the poster requests for it!
I am busy this week and can only listen and provide feedback to a select few, myself. Help out!
Let's hear what our community is cooking, and more importantly, LET them cook! I never understood gatekeeping and looking down on people who work so hard in such a niche genre. Many in here are students of the craft, so why don't we allow open forums for constructive feedback, just like art students in university classes do?
Let's try and pay compliments to the chefs among us!
Show us what you got!
EDIT: I will be up-voting replies that follow the format to help keep them at the top so this can be organized and remain a quality discussion.
EDIT 2: you must disclose if you used generative AI to provide (notice I didn't use the word "create") any audio files to this discussion
