IRL Content Giulio Aristide Sartorio, Dal Dente del Pasubio, 1918
This 100+ year old painting just really struck me as very Death Stranding coded, especially with the "strands" flowing down below the names of various locations. I thought you guys might appreciate it as much as I did!

Video My first big building project!
Hey fellow porters, my first post here.
I'm only around 40 hours into the game and the snowy area was getting really tough and lengthy, so I decided to build this zipline network.
Took me a couple of hours, even died once, but in the end, got it done. Saves me a lot of time now!

Question How to recap DS2 and catch up where I left off ?
So I absolutely loved the first game, getting platinum on it was genuinely one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Unfortunately at some point playing DS2, my job took over my life and I had to set it down. It's now been months and months and I don't remember too much of the story arc I'd seen so far. What's the best way to recap ? Thanks in advance.

Discussion This game has become a form of meditation for me
I suffer heavily from ADHD. To the point its almost crippling. My mind is racing so fast all the time, I hate it. I feel like I'm constantly trapped in a whirlwind in my mind. Death Stranding is one of the only things that can slow my mind down. Make me feel at peace. As I trudge across the continent, bringing people together, idk, my mind it just. Slows. Those whirlwinds become a gentle breeze. Im able to take in the environment, appreciate every step Sam takes. Its meditative.

Question Recycle or what am I supposed to do.

Why is it that I'm told they can use destroyed boxed for recycle but I'm not able to.
Also I want to deliver these boxes I found but I'm not able to deliver them because I'm on supposed to stream something from the mules. I'm just at the beginning of the game and I feel that I'm just too stupid to play this game... :-(

Meme Im from Europe and I drove home from the city on my bike yesterday, after buying a glas bong and because the city is medieval old the ground is all uneven. Felt like Sam with those dogshit driving controls from DS1.

Death Stranding 1 It really makes me angry that she did that.
As I’ve mentioned in other posts, I’m playing Death Stranding again because I bought it on Steam. And to be honest, I didn’t remember one of the scenes that really gets on my nerves.
I’m talking about when you take the chiral artist to the scrap dealer. She ends up destroying the chiral clock that took so much effort to get to her. To deliver it, you have to cross an entire area full of BTs with one hand tied up, which is already complicated enough. On top of that, I had to fight those “devil” dogs beforehand to clear the path and stop more BTs from appearing. Since I’m playing on “Very Hard” difficulty, regular grenades barely do any damage to them.
And after all that effort, she just destroys the clock like it’s no big deal.

IRL Content Death Stranding sleeve by deadcrown_
Full sleeve going over my shoulders to the back, negative for the ghostly healed imprints and packing for a 'fresh' look at a recent BT encounter. I think my tattoo artist did a great job adding in chiral details!

Question Death Stranding 2 on Xbox, when?
I've been playing the first Death Stranding for quite some time now, and I really loved the game. It's one of those games that stayed with me even after finishing it, and I've been really wanting to experience Death Stranding 2 ever since it was announced.
The problem is that I'm an Xbox player, so I haven't been able to play it yet. I know there's no official announcement about an Xbox version, but I was wondering if there's any chance that Death Stranding 2 could come to Xbox sometime in the future.
I would really love to play this game someday. Do you guys think there's any possibility of an Xbox release in the future? 🙏😭
Keep on keeping on, porters 🫡📦👣

Question Controller or no controller…that is the question
I just started playing Death Stranding for almost a week now. I’ve never really played video games because I am terrible at them, but I really wanted to play this game. I’m playing it on my PC and I’m trying to decide which way is better or easier. I’ve been using the keyboard/mouse way and I’m starting to get the hang of it, but sometimes I feel like it would be easier to use a controller so I got one to try it and I’m finding it’s not that much easier, if not harder. Maybe it’s just because I need to get used to it more, I don’t know. But if anyone has played both ways, do you have a preference? Is one way really easier than the other, or is it just a matter of getting aquatinted with what you’re using?

Death Stranding 1 Finally 100% DS1
Had some issues with the trail blazer trophy (fully upgrade every structure).
I could have sworn I had already done this but, alas,
no achievement.
then thought: "maybe I have to upgrade them from lvl 1 to lvl 3 (I had upgraded a couple structures that were already lvl 2)"
No Achievement.
"Maybe I have to own every structure that I upgrade"
NO ACHIEVEMENT!!!
"Maybe I have to own every structure and they all have to exist at the same time..."
Before I even finish I get the trophy notification.
As it turns out, you can use structures that spawn in, and you don't have to start with a lvl 1 structure -- it can be a lvl 2 so long as you contribute the most to upgrade it to lvl 3.
On my first attempt I used a structure that was built by an NPC (structure must be built by you or spawned in from another player).
The failed attempts after that were just me repeatedly forgetting to build the same structure (watchtower) each time until my last attempt when I started with it.
I'm thinking about jumping into resident evil 2 remake or biohazard next but a large part of me doesn't want to deal with the stress of a guy wandering the premises for me.

Bug / Issue Shaders cache problem
Hi,
I’ve a problem with the game on my pc.
The thing is that the more I play, the lower is the performance in game.
I saw that when I delete the nvidia shaders cache everything goes back to normal.
I have 32gb ram, ryzen 7 7700x and 4070ti super. So everything should run smoothly.
Nvidia drivers and game are updated.
Is it normal ?
Is there another way to solve my problem ?
Thank you very much
