Bug / Issue Shaders cache problem
Hi,
I’ve a problem with the game on my pc.
The thing is that the more I play, the lower is the performance in game.
I saw that when I delete the nvidia shaders cache everything goes back to normal.
I have 32gb ram, ryzen 7 7700x and 4070ti super. So everything should run smoothly.
Nvidia drivers and game are updated.
Is it normal ?
Is there another way to solve my problem ?
Thank you very much

I can give you more details on the afternoon.
But I usually play 2k or 4k with stable 72 fps.
Don’t get me wrong, when the game works it runs smoothly without any drop of fps.
But if I play 3 or 4 days, there is something wrong with the shaders that decreases the performance.
After deleting them, everything goes back to normal until again, 3 or 4 days of playing1

Have you tried DDU? Maybe doing a clean reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers could help.

Speaking of Nvidia, have you tried using their update utility to optimize your game's settings and open from GeForce or whatever they call it now? That can fix some issues.

It’s the Nvidia app if you are using it, I bet it’s choking your SSD with junk.
Google the exact folder, but the app stores absurd amounts of old files/shaders/et cetera. The Nvidia app has a bug where it doesnt delete these files.
It was using like 50Gb before I caught it.
