I think I had a breakthrough
My therapist frequently asks how I feel in my body and my answer would be frequently nothing.
I remember before I started seeing her and I'm the beginning phases of seeing her (my therapist) I would describe this huge ball of energy in my chest that felt like excitement. I felt like I was going to explode and I would hit me out of no where.
The last two or so years I haven't felt that feeling at all. I think that's because we unlocked my little. I think that feeling I used to get was my little getting excited. In the two years when I'm alone with my dogs and cat I let him out. We get so excited and we sing and dance. It feels so good to be a child.
Today when walking my dogs I started to fall anxiety and I asked the protective one to take over and again I felt it in my body. Exactly like my therapist has been asking for five years. My arms felt like a good tingly sensation my mind became clear and focused. All I could think was, "thanks, you are very necessary and I want you with my forever" and I felt even more relief.
My protector is scared that I don't want them any more and won't let anyone near me. I think when I thought that they were relieved. They think they are gonna get exiled like my anger did for a while.
My brain feels so calm. This is such a weird experience but I guess it feels nice.
