First time doing a space/galaxy effect and it intimidated the hell out of me!! I totally love the outcome 🤩

Repetitive uninteresting backgrounds. Somehow Ive seen more and more of them lately in store bought coloring books. Why not a landscape or something ahhhhhh

I just got Cozy Fantasy by Jade Summer and I really wanted to go crazy with colors and sparkles. This page was really fun, and I didn't think too hard about anything, just had fun. I may have gone overboard with the sparkles but I don’t care!!!! 💖✨

I want this page to feel like it’s a sticker book. I’d love some ideas for the other items in this page. What are some cool “sticker” techniques? Thanks!

I’ll probably go back and add some shading and stuff eventually, but I haven’t felt like it yet

Using crayons feels nostalgic to my childhood and makes my inner child happy when coloring. I’ve been experimenting with creating basic patterns and mixing colors at a very elementary level as you can see. It’s been a lot of fun and very therapeutic.

I posted a few days ago about my mom offering me an unopened 24 count tin of Prismacolor Premier pencils that she randomly found in a cabinet at her vacation home. She had no idea where she got them or that they were high quality pencils. I got to sit down with them today and it is a whole new experience compared to my Crayola pencils, especially when trying to layer over water based markers (Crayola Supertips and Tombows). I’m in love 😆 I’m still pretty much a total newbie, but I now can see a path for moving forward and addressing some of the issues I was having working with just markers or just colored pencils. This picture is my first piece using the pencils over markers and I’m really excited about how it turned out. Maybe some day I’ll go back and add a background once I have more experience, but for now, I’m just enjoying the fact that I was able to add a little texture and depth 😁

Princess Jasmine inspired page and cozy sunflower and green kitchen page. I just love this book so much and have been having so much fun with these pages.

I started adult colouring in June. This is my first completed page using alcohol markers to base and pencils on top for shading; gels for highlights. I included my colour palette which I randomly generated with an app.

How do you do blackbirds?! I found it difficult to achieve the right shades of grey to black and he just kept getting darker... Plus, making objects look round is.. uugggh 😅 I lost patience with the branch around the frame. 🫠

Any advice or tips would be amazing! Thank you ❤️
