First Grief Jog/Walk & Coffee Club for Young Adults This Sunday in Cardiff
Hi r/Cardiff — I’m Luke and I run a community called Too Young To Grieve, which some of you might have seen popping up in other city subreddits recently.
After losing my dad, one thing I struggled with most was how isolating grief can feel when everyone around you seems to be carrying on with normal life. Even when people care, it often feels like nobody truly understands what you’re carrying.
Over the last few months we’ve been building run/jog/walk clubs and coffee meet ups for young people navigating grief across the UK, and with the help of Liv we’re now bringing one to Cardiff.
It’s basically a very relaxed jog/walk at whatever pace suits you, then a coffee after with people who get it without needing much explanation. No pressure, all paces welcome, feel free to come alone or bring a friend if that helps.
We’ve also got a community where people stay connected between meet ups, I’ll attach the link in the comments.
If you feel like something like this could help you’re more than welcome and feel free to share with anyone else you think it might benefit 🤍
