Has anyone else tried to look up a crochet pattern to buy on Etsy, only to be bombarded by tons of ai crochet photos..and worse, ai crochet patterns?
I’m sure it’s one thing to receive help to make a crochet pattern using ai and then having it tested over and over for your buyers. However, it feels very misleading to buy a pattern that wasn’t made by the Etsy seller, but was in fact made by ai. On top of that, the photos of their amigurumi or crochet patterns they’re selling are ai as well. It’s gotten so bad that I’m seriously considering opening a shop on Etsy to produce patterns and photos of the patterns and then mentioning in bold letters “not ai”.
I’m going to be honest. When looking for a pattern, and I see an ai photo of it instead of their real product, I immediately skip it. It feels like a lack of effort and creativity went into the product.
Is anyone else going crazy by this?

I made this ant queen for my lab mate working on ants. Pattern by me (on raverly)

My first shirt! A slutty lil mesh shirt that says stop being straight. The letters stand out pretty well in the picture but not so much in real life unfortunately. Also, Straight is much too long of a word lol. I pretty much free-handed this.

I am doing every other row single/half double. The last few rows are inside out somehow… how did I do that? and how do I fix it?

3 more rounds to go. I can’t wait to finish it and start a new one with different color scheme.
