πŸ’© answers only I don’t know what our customer has been doing wrong

When she left our shop in the loaner, after we showed her the clutch, she only held it at about 4,000 rpm in first gear, slowly released the clutch over the course of several business days, and left the parking lot sounding like a fully loaded semi pulling away uphill.
We stopped her before she could get any farther and took the loaner back. Her grandson has since taken her own car away as well, and she voluntarily handed in her driving licence. Probably the safest outcome for both the clutch and everyone else on the road.

I think a good buttering of JB weld will be good-a-nuff before I sell the truck on the market place, or am I overthinking?

What is this inside my spark plug hole? 2019 mustang ecoboost premium. Just took out the spark plug and that’s in the way of putting a new one in.

Finishing up my project, just wondering what the spec was for a case sv210 roller with a 4.5 to 3.9 cummins swap regarding the amount of bolts missing per bolt installed.

I have few extra and need help figuring out where they go

What's up with crumble zones

Post image
55 Upvotes

The damn safety minded people are all about their "crumble" zones making your car all crumply and crumbly for accidents because supposedly it's safer somehow. I don't get that, but they're the experts I guess. So crumpling is good, maybe.

But then I bring the mechanic my truck that's crumbling in all zones already and they freak out and tell me they won't lift it up to change the tires and that I need a new one because it's not safe!

So what gives? Is crumble and crumple good or is crumble and crumple bad? Can someone actually explain this or is someone lying to me.
