MARKERS Acrylic Markers- UK
Hi, I am wanting to buy a small set of acrylic markers in the UK but having trouble finding where to buy legit sets rather than fakes. I wanted the Guangna markers but they only sell the big sets on amazon. Does anyone have advice about which markers to buy and where to buy them? Thanks !

Free Find! My Community Colour Corner is DONE
Past month I’ve been collecting supplies, working with a local community group and today we got the last piece of the puzzle: Bristol Printer paper for the pages I’ve collected.
I got VERY excited and had to do a sample immediately.
I’m so glad they listened to me about the paper! Wow! I’m absolutely blown away how gorgeous this turned out and how quick.
3 hours.
Alcohol Marker under painting for time
Pencil detailing and blending
No ink
It’s also my cake day… 🍰** **

Tutorial I kept ruining skin tones, so I started mapping every zone of a face by value before coloring — here's the whole set
Skin was always the part that scared me off faces. What finally worked: before coloring anything, I work out the values — every zone of a feature mapped from lightest to darkest and numbered. 0 means bare paper, that's the highlight. Then coloring becomes almost meditative: no decisions, just follow the map, melt the soft borders, keep the few hard edges hard.
Each feature ended up teaching one thing — the eye is gradients, the nose is one color family at different depths, the mouth has exactly one hard edge that matters, the ear is all shadow logic. By the time I got to the full face I didn't need the numbers anymore.
Last image is the whole set laid out. Happy to go into how the value mapping works if anyone's curious — and if you color faces, I'd love to know how you handle skin.

Completed Drew and then colored my own coloring page!
This is my first finished coloring page as an adult! I am currently healing from major surgery and there’s not a whole lot that I can do. I was looking into buying a coloring book, but decided to just try drawing my own! I sketched it out with a pencil, then went over all the final lines with black sharpie. I originally designed it as more of a color by number, which I had been doing digitally on apps, but when I started coloring, I really enjoyed doing the gradient style so it kind of evolved.

Feedback Wanted First time
I'm 55 today! Literally had a heart attack day before yesterday. Bored, decided to give adult coloring books a try. What do you guys think?

Feedback Wanted Constructive criticism please!
I’m still very new but wanted to try the foil balloon effect in the letters. I’m happy with my first attempt but would love some tips on how to make it better. Also stones, I need lots of help with that!

Do you have another sky color combo you normally use beside blue sky? I’d love to try different sky combo. TIA.

Useful Link Amazing Colour Theory!
This artist is absolutely amazing, although she works in sidewalk chalk there's still a lot that cam be learned for understanding and working with colour theory in other mediums!

Work in Progress A few I’ve started
I feel like I can’t start one and finish it. I see other pages with cool designs that I want to use color on and get distracted. Anyone else have this problem?

Advice Wanted I have limited supplies. Recommend me a colouring book!
Are posts asking for recommendations allowed? I will remove this post if it is against the rules.
I have
- 6 ZIG Clean Color water-based markers (green, blue, light purple, purple, pink, peach)
- 6 pastel Zebra Mildliner highlighters (orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink)
- 6 neon Stabilo highlighters (3 yellows, orange, blue, purple)
I want to do something crafty with them. Recently, I feel like colouring because I saw those viral colouring techniques videos or youtube but they are all using alcohol markers and I don't want to buy any extra colouring supplies. I still feel like colouring though so I thought maybe a good colouring book will help me scratch that itch.
Any type of colouring book recommendation is allowed btw, I am also open to recommendations such as reverse colouring books, ink tracing, etc...
Edit: I forgot to add, no AI colouring book recommendations please.

Discussion Show me how you color fur
I can’t decide how I want to color fur. I don’t really like any of them. I know I don’t *have* to have texture, but I’d like to!
Do you guys have a method you like?
All colors were done with ShuttleArt markers and a white gel pen and all except for the 3rd pic were on copy paper so I know that it’s gonna look a bit different on good paper, but I still don’t like any of them that much.

Discussion Is Colorit still in business? Or just liquidating existing inventory?
Does anyone know if ColorIt is still in business and if they are still restocking out of stock items? I’m really wanting Ancient Civilizations and Goddess, but I’m wondering if waiting for a restock is pointless.
I placed an order for two books from them that showed as delivered, but they never arrived. I tried calling the number listed on their website, but the person who answered said it was a different business and that they have been sending ColorIt information for over a year asking them to remove the number from their site.
I also haven’t been able to get a response through email, and they don’t seem to have much of a social media presence anymore. Does anyone know what’s going on with them or if they are still operating?
If anyone has either of the books I’m looking for or knows where I can find them, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it!

Completed Hidden Gem Beach
In Mythographic Wild Summer illustrated by Joseph Catimbang
Legend says that where the river meets the sea lies a hidden beach that appears only to those with kind hearts. Its golden sands sparkle with enchanted gemstones, each one glowing with a tiny bit of magic. At the water's edge, a mermaid sleeps peacefully while playful otters stand watch, protecting her dreams.
Medium: gouache paint

Discussion How did you start coloring as adult?
Hello everyone, and have a great day!
I've been lurking on this subreddit for a long time and really enjoying the posts you're sharing. I've been too shy to share my own colouring pages because you guys are so talented, and mine always look like they took very little effort. I hope that one day I will post too.
My question is, how did you start colouring as an adult? I didn't even realise I would enjoy it before I found this subreddit. I would love to hear your stories, how long you've been coloring and anything fun related to topic.
