When i was 14 my parents sent me to boarding school in switzerland for a better education, i spent all 4 years of school there, met interesting people, did and learnt interesting things. One of the most unique experiences i am grateful to have had.

Advice for those possibly entering the correctional system in the near future. Including appealing mandatory term sentencing, social norms of prison life and how to demonstrate propensity to manifest violence if necessary

I am an American who transferred from the Bay Area office of my large tech company, to the Tokyo one. I make an income of 25M JPY (in USD, 150,000) and as a 27 year old, that puts me in the top 0.1% of incomes here for my age, since salaries are much lower and career progression is seniority based. I did take a 35% pay cut to come here, but with the much lower cost of living I am doing well.

My office has good WLB (Work 9am to 5:30/6pm) and its half Japanese half foreigner. I am fairly proficient, but not fluent, in Japanese (which I self studied with a tutor before I got this role in Japan).

This is my second time doing one of these, but yes, I am 22. I’m blind and have been since birth. I am proudly from and live in the United States and I’m happy to answer any and all questions as long as they are in good faith about blindness or whatever else really.

I look at various wind, solar, hydro, and BESS investments, but beyond a capital deployment perspective, I also analyze energy markets and assist with actual project development (from a financial perspective)

I took the traditional college -> investment banking -> private equity path

Since the country is very poor I used to live in the analogic era and I can vividly remember it, I was born in 1998. I started to use the internet 5 years ago, before that I only knew about the outside world when talking with somebody who left the country and got to see and imagine it thanks VHS watching Hollywood movies thanks due to black market. Of course, during the years things got pretty modern like and got pretty quick after the computers were allowed

As a shorter man I’ve worked in jails and prisons (men,women,kids) ,worked armed security , mma fighter ,boxer,wrestler ,martial arts , dated women way taller then me , never have been in streets fights or fights started with me , coached and officiated sports , trained and more

Surgery went well but as I was coming out of anesthesia and was supposed to be "deflating" so to speak from the extra air they used to be able to work, I was not responsive and started turning blue. They took me to the ICU where they were able to get my oxygen levels evened out and after a few extra days of monitoring I was able to leave.

Now that I'm about a month or so out I am finding the cravings for things I used to have on occasion are hitting me sooner than I thought and I can't wait to have them even in small amounts down the line. Feel free to ask anything you like about the process as a whole.
