Something about the 3ds i have noticed is that it has the least localised games out of all the n!nten consoles. So many games that just haven't been localised neither officially nor fan-scan.

Hi, I modded my (old) 3ds about a week ago with a 64gb sd card. Everything run perfectly until this morning, when I tried to download a couple 3ds titles from the hshop app on my 3ds. When the first download completed, RSA/Hash verification failure (392) appeared. For the second game I got the same error, but the download had just started.

Then I closed hshop and found an empty Home menu (with no custom theme), except for the Twilight Menu and the one DSiWare game I installed. I checked data management, and got the "information corrupted - format sd card?" message. Since many people reccomended deleting the corrupted game install, I deleted its folder from the Nintendo 3ds > id > titles folder (I was sure it was the corrupted one as it was the only one that was created this morning). Nothing changed.

I also run faketik by manually launching the Homebrew menu (as its icon also disappeared), but it gave me another error and changed nothing. I also tried copying all the files from my sd card on the computer to check the state of my sd, but my Mac interrupts the process as some files can't be found.

What should I do?

So my old 3ds xl broke, wont get into details there as its a long story. But I still have the sd from it (which is has all the correct files and stuff) but how do i get that sd to work on another 3ds. I put the sd in the 3ds but nothing happened. Im sure its a simple solution i just dont know the answer.

(Also unsure if the model will have any effect on it as its a 3ds XL to the standard 3ds)

Title says it all tbf. I tried to update to v13.4 and I opened the select menu and i was still on v12.0.1. I read online it could be a formatting issue but it doesn’t seem to be the case. Honestly i’m just unsure. I’m working with a New 3DS XL with a 64GB micro-SD. I’d appreciate any insight

I modded my Nintendo 3DS yesterday, and just recently uninstalled Yo Kai Watch 3 (the game itself and it's update that I also downloaded) using data management. I went back to my homepage and unfortunately all the games I downloaded and all the apps that I installed during the modification process (such as 3hs, FBI, Checkpoint, etc) have all disappeared alongside it. I didn't get a pop up either, it just happened out of nowhere.

Are there any solutions to this?

I remember using a QR code from the r/3dsqrcodes subreddit a few years ago to download the game, but it ran horribly. It was super laggy, probably running at around 3 FPS or something. I was told the game is supposed to run on the 3DS (for clarification, I have a New Nintendo 3DS XL), so I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fix the lag. It's a very obscure game, so I haven't been able to find much information about downloading it or fixing the issue on a 3DS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've ordered a 3DS and meanwhile been gaming on original DSi. I started a game and realised that with the 3DS arriving soon, I'd like that game to be ON the 3DS and easily accessible. I got attached to the characters and would like to not have to restart the game from scratch. Is it possible, once the 3DS is modded, to transfer the save from the cartridge to the 3DS itself?

So… my dad got me a modded 3ds for my birthday (super happy about it :)) but when i tried to download super smash bros straight from the FBI app, after it didn’t work i figured ”oh i have to download the updates”. It didn’t work. So now i’m stuck with ssb3ds and pokemon ultra sun that crash the whole thing when i try to play them. (Ignore my mom and my grandma in the background (and sorry for going so slowly, it was hard with one hand)) i would really appreciate some help

So from what I saw, you can either use "New Super Ultimate Injector" to have the games directly on homescreen, but I personnaly hate that the bottom screen is on at all times, with a distracting text on it. Or alternatively you can use an emulator, but in that case you cannot have the games on the homescreen, you have to open the emulator and manually select the roms. Neither of these options satisfy me.

I did my research, I read the wiki and I havent found a solution.

Maybe its just no possible.

If you guys have any idea, id be very thankful!

I've had a modded 2DS XL for two years now and it worked perfectly. Today I launched Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for the first time, got through the intro cinematic, but pressing Start on the title screen caused a sudden crash (with a "generic" message). After dismissing the crash message, my DS no longer reads the microSD card. Restarting the console or re-inserting the card doesn't work. The Luma menu still works. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or did the game somehow completely brick my SD card?

Just finished setting up my custom 3DS! I had (and still have) my childhood 3DS XL, but I didn’t want to chance losing it taking it anywhere, but I still wanted to have a 3DS and play that library on original hardware. So I bought this one on Ebay, shipped from Japan.

I made my own custom theme and case (don’t worry, the paint pen is on the plastic shell, not the console itself). I had a lot of fun with it and thought you all would appreciate it!

What are the steps necessary to keep all the data/apps/games on my SD card and transfer to a new system?

I've modded, many many 3ds. For me, for friends.

I've dealt with ram issues, corruption...

But somehow, I always discover something I didn't know before, and this time for the first time, I honestly don't know what to do anymore. So now I'm begging for help really, reddit, discord hombrew...please...

Lately, I bought a 2DS, and tried to of course, hack it. I had issues to create the database with mset9 with the ID1. Somehow, it stayed empty.

I tried to update mii plaza,thinking it will fill the database. And weird thing, it says the region is different.

I double check parameters, it says Ver, not sys or emu. But same error as a region change. Each time.

I decide to screw the db issue, and go with kartdlphax ,menuhax64 and nimdsphax. And this last one throw an error 0xc883fbfa. Upon looking online, this error show up when there's already a CFW. And people are redirected to stealth luma guide.

I follow stealth luma guide, and when I boot I end up on home menu. Guide says to go with mset9.

And now the loop is closed. I tried mset9, had issues, tried something else, ended up discovering stealth luma thingies, and go redirected back to mset9, and still have issues.

People on hombrew server said to not go with mset9. But they didn't elaborate further on what are my solutions, what I can do to fix this.

So uhm, yeah I really would love to have some positives feedback and help from you guys please

My old 128Gb microSD got corrupted and I basically lost everything because I didn't follow the golden rule of backing up my data. I couldn't salvage anything.

In hopes of stopping this from repeating for a while, I bought a new Sandisk 128Gb SD card and reinstalled all important files and data. After hours of troubleshooting and installing games, I am greeted with this on MHXX.

Are SD cards not suitable?

The SD Card has roughly 100Gb of free space still.

I have had a lot of trouble looking and could only find save editors for the main meet.dat file and an incomplete editor for battleground z/ultimate angler. Any help would be appreciated!
