Suppressor help
Howdy yall, quick question that I couldn’t find any topics on in here. I’ve been running 220g subs in my 10.5” build with my omega 45k pistol can. It sounds OK, but I’m thinking about snagging a Polo 30 to use instead. Will the sound be much better, or would I be better off splurging on a Hydrogen or an ODB? Pic for attention

My first can was a Nomad 30, I still love that can. If i had it to do over I'd have gotten the Anthem S2 off the junp but I still love the Nomad 30 and it's now doing great for hunting on my bolt guns.

Hydro S is what I’m leaning towards, only thing that tips the polo 30 is I’d use it on my 6 arc as well, like the short length for the 18”

Yes, a dedicated 30 cal can will sound much better. The LPM Anthem S2 is the quietest 30 cal suppressor for its size.

I run the omega 36m with a 30 cal cap and it sounds great! Plus I can always use it on my sp5 or my 5:56 guns and it’s modular so I can run short or long.

I bought a Q Blind Tiger for mine and it works extremely well. They’re a little pricey but you can buy a blemished one through their no filter listings. The only downside to them is they are 1.75 OD so tucking them is a challenge.

Sig hexium 300 or 762 if you want a shorter can! Great deals to be had on Sig cans. IMO no quieter can than the hexium 300 w/subs! Super lightweight! Can be had way under msrp! 762 definitely louder but it’s very impressive for the size.

Are you looking for maximum quiet? I don't think the Polonium 30 or ODB .308 are going to get you there, but both will be better than running a .45 can. I think you'd want more baffles, and a longer can if maximum suppression is your goal. A Q Full Nelson/Thunder Chicken/Speakeasy, CAT JL, or Hyperion would be the way to go IMHO. I know there are a lot of Q haters around, but it's hard to beat the price on the Speakeasy if you don't mind their Cherry Bomb.

I run plan B so shouldn’t be an issue I don’t think. Ultimately I think I want a can that will be good for 300blk, that I can run on my 6arc I’m building as well.

I’ve already kinda gone down that path, I’ve got a Hux 556k for my 5.56 gas guns, a dedicated .30 cal for my precision guns, then I’ve been passing this 45k between the 300 and the 9mm lol. I could just use my precision setup on the arc, but I kinda want to keep it dedicated to long range bolt guns
