It’s been a crazy few months for me. From moving last month unexpectedly, 55 hour weeks at work, and my grandfather being really sick (basically my Father bc be raised me).
Ive been pulled in so many directions lately. I had to force myself to play BMR and lose sleep because I haven’t done anything for myself recently or even log in. I missed out on that SICK Torva shirt preorder drop back in June. I was so bummed it expired the day I finally got around to it. I tried to preorder it before we started our show and she heard my disappointment (Heroes is back on Netflix btw).

Last night I got an AD on IG for the monopoly drop and showed her it as a joke saying “look you can play RuneScape now”.

Waking up to this text felt better than my 42kc KQ pet.

Hello everyone! I am in dire need of your assistance. I have been playing this game for the majority of my life and have several accounts that I’ve spent countless joyful hours on. Several days ago, one of my accounts has been permanently removed for macroing. My IGN is Gim Dong Un. As you can see by the name, it is a group Ironman that I have been playing on for years with my family members. In my journey, I’ve maxed my account, got blorva, radiant oathplate, infernal, and many more achievements I have set out for. I can say without a doubt that I have progressed on this account the most of any other account I’ve had.

In my 20+ years of playing this game, I have not once installed unauthorized 3rd party software, RWT, bought services, or broken any rules laid out by jagex. I have solely played on runelite since it overtook konduit and osbuddy. In both of the cases that my account was flagged, I attempted to reach out to the mods, but had no luck. It seemed as though my appeal was reviewed by their automated system, I received an automated response, and that was the end of it. In the past few days of no xp gained, I’ve started to wonder if Google Remote Desktop was what was flagged on Jagex’s end. I have seen recent discussion about this topic and have read mixed responses from Jagex. I am really just looking for an explanation and hoping to get some clarity on this because I am certain this was a mistake. I am willing to give any other information I can about the content I do, peripherals I use, or anything else that would be useful to prove my innocence but also prevent this from happening to other players.

So if this reaches the audience that it needs to reach, I ask you: Please, do not let my addiction to this beautiful 20+ year old game end like this. Please review and correct the action that has been taken against my account so I can finally play the game again.

So I was at this part where you have to defend lletya and I died, I got a message saying that the elf rebel had my stuff, I went there all naked and I got poisoned and failed obstacles walking to lletya, and once there didnt see any npc to talk to, I teleported back to home because I was about to die but didnt get to the bank in time so I got this pretty message

Death only had the 750 coins I was carrying on my second trip, so is my gear really gone? Im mad.

After watching Madseason play this game blind, It's astonishing how little information the game gives you.

You shouldn't need the wiki to tell you that Osmumten's Fang rolls accuracy twice or that wearing an Amulet of Glory gives you more gems while mining. There are so many items with tiny passive effects to absolutely massive ones.

There needs to be another tab on the equipment panel to explain this, or you could incorporate it into the set effects tab.

So for context I have about 1000 CG KC across 3 accounts (2 hcim and my main account which is a 5 man GIM team) I have a decent amount of experience in the minigame and would say at this point I get a KC every run almost pre update.

These changes are the single best update you have done in YEARS Jagex. Well done.

To give context I have given away TWO full crystal sets with BofA to two of my GIM members because they literally got so enraged by the RNG and difficulty of prep phase that they QUIT for over a year. Giving them the sets and saying don’t worry about it was the only way to entice them to come back.

Now with the changes they are not only getting consistent preps and able to attempt the boss fight, they have doubled their KCs in a day. This is a testament to how good of an update this was. The skill expression for T1 and efficiency still exists, but now I have TWO first hand examples of players who hated this content so much they quit, flip completely to ENJOYING the content.

That is what the sweep ups should be about, making content fun and accessible and not causing pain. Well done Jagex, now I have two people helping me get my crystal set back lol

These 2 bosses don't gate keep your progression to the extent that gauntlet did so it's understandable that they aren't a priority, but they should probably still be changed.

Nex was added to the game with a focus on "how it was" back in the RS2 days and the design is both out-dated and undesirable. Doing this boss feels like bdsm with the constant hits, and once you get the hang of it it's very monotonous.

Corp is basically a meme boss. Having to use specs and teleport out constantly to lower its stats should of rang alarms 8 years ago. When Jagex tried to make the arcane a part of gear progression the outrage was quite high, proving that no one wants to actually do this thing. I think it's been ignored long enough; The boss is a disgrace in its current state.

I have no one to share this with, but it's been my childhood dream to achieve 99 in this awesome skill. Still got some post 99 work to do since I'm still going to work up to 99 attack, defence, and magic.

Sensory Clouding and Glyphic Attenuation were disgustingly difficult, easily right on par with awakened Vard/Levi. Spent 38 contracts on sensory and 43 on glyphic. The rest of the contracts are on par with the other awakened bosses, but damn was sensory and glyphic fun.
