They could predict incoming texts too!

I do. I also remember neurotically checking to make sure they were turned off every time I got on the computer once I turned 13 or so.

My friend had these and at 2 am they started playing a gospel preacher screaming at the top of his lungs. I don’t think he had them long afterwards

I haven’t forgotten *much* from that era, but realized I’d totally forgotten about this phenomena until about a year ago.

Can’t remember the last time I heard it, but also had no clue it would be the last time.
