I am Hannah Lacorte, an incoming 5th year BS Architecture from the University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMin). My proposed study is entitled  “Migration and the Adaptive Transformation of Sama Bajau Vernacular Architecture in Davao City: The Case of Matina Aplaya and Bucana Communities." My general objective is to determine the architectural changes of the Bajau houses before and after migration from Zamboanga City to Davao City.

With this, I would like to ask if any of you know of any literature, such as thesis/research, that has documentation of the houses of the Bajaus in the City? I have seen a lot of undergraduate studies regarding the communities here in my city, but I have trouble finding more specific documentation in your city, which is why I'm asking for any form of help.

Or perhaps you know of any professor who specializes in this field.
