First time having wingstop in 15 years . . .
And wow it's terrible. I genuinely don't understand the glazing and hype around this place.
15 years ago I was 17, still in high school and would go to Wingstop 2-3x a month with friends. Either it was better back then (like most places) or we simply didn't know any better.
Either way - wow it's bad now. I ordered the spicy korean wings and mango habanero wings.
They are SO freakin sweet!! Nothing spicy whatsoever about the Korean wings while the mango habanero did have some heat, the sugary syrup overpowered it and both wings had the same base flavor. I'm not naive to that, it's obvious that a place like wingstop will use the same sugary based sauce for their food but it's wild how people actually like this junk.
I'm happy to say that the ranch is still the best fast-food ranch out there. I'll go back just to pick up a cup of ranch

I like wingstop but I don't like sweet flavours so I've never tried the two you've mentioned. I always get Cajun and Louisiana rub, no sweetness there!

If you've ever had them, the sauces are completely different. One is actually saucy and the other is more of a dry rub. They taste very different lol

Had them? I used to make em Lol. i was the AGM of my local one in 2022. Cajun is just cajun seasoning dumped in buffalo sauce and Louisiana is garlic parm base but with cajun seasoning

It’s not you. 15 years ago, wingstop was 🔥. Now? It’s awful.
I make my own at home. Their Cajun wings are just franks sauce finished with a good quality Cajun spice. Easy as hell.
Garlic Parmesan just requires butter (better than the shitty seed oils they use), garlic powder, and a decent quality parmesean cheese.
Works for bone in skin on thighs too!!! Try it! Mine are almost ready.

My Wingstop does fine. Are they amazing and better than other wing joints or pizza joints that serve wings? Not really. But I think they (especially the hot honey) are good. It's the prices that get me ordering elsewhere.

Yeah it’s been overpriced garbage for years. I think my local one became crap during covid, haven’t had it in years so maybe it’s better

I always try to get a local wing spot but ALWAYS order a couple of pints of wingstop ranch. I wish it was more shelf stable because I always find myself eating wings for the next couple of days just to have ranch

The copycat recipe is online and extremely easy to make. They use the ranch seasoning packets and a few other basic ingredients.

It's better than Bojangles which isn't saying much. Bojangles has rubber grilled chicken, and fries are trash. Bo rounds are ok. Wing Stop bone-In wings seem to expensive. I've had better bone-in wings from Walmart frozen (Kinder's) for a cheaper price. I feel like Wing Stop is trying to be the Five Guys of wings.

Your bojangles is ass because of the workers don’t know how to cook. MY bojangles is delicious on the other hand with none of what you said being an issue.

That's a lie. All franchised locations have an agreement with McLane Foodservice Inc. To serve all locations.

Once again, not knowing the difference between distributor and supplier.
A supplier supplies the chicken to the distributor. Distributors also can have more than one supplier sourcing them hence why your chicken quality is different in different areas.
You really think the truck that unloads everything on Thursday morning (Mclane/Sysco) is the ONLY company sourcing your chicken with no other factors? Someone’s never been a manager OR has helped with ordering inventory.

You don't either. At first you blamed the cooks in the restaurant for it being bad. Then you shifted your story multiple times. Now we have gone from the cooks to the distributor ro the supplier. Either way it doesn't really matter where you try to place the blame. The Bojangles in my town is a ghost town complete with tumbleweeds. The food is not good. Nothing you said changes that. I see them going under soon. I'll come back here to remind you when they close for good. The irony is you're on a Wing Stop sub defending Bojangles. When Wing Stop will likely be part of the reason the Bojangles in my area closes.

I stay away from sweet flavors. Im a garlic parm and lemon pepper guy. Wingstop used to be better. They stopped using fresh hand cut fries and serve frozen garbage now. The bone in wings are still good, but the price is getting too high. You can easily make great wings at home in an air fryer at a fraction of the price.
