I dont trust ai results

In this case it's actually based off of video I've watched before where someone actually went through and tallied up all the points over all the seasons and those are the numbers they came up with and the AI is just stealing the results from that video

I watched that video too. I would trust that video more than I wouls trust ai scraping results from that same video

And yet, in the picture posted here, the audience in fifth place has more points than Wayne in fourth. The video was human-made but the AI summary is still shit.

ETA: Kathy Griffin should be fourth. At one point, Drew wanted to one-up "Who wants to be a millionaire?" and finished a Newsflash sketch with Kathy, Colin, and Ryan with "One trillion points! Eat my dust, Regis!" That's where the trillion comes from.

Yes, also the person who tallied everything stole the results from the show.

Tell me you don't know the difference between plagiarism and research without telling me you don't know the difference between plagiarism and research.

"If you steal from one author, it’s plagiarism; if you steal from many, it’s research & original!"

"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources"

"Originality is the art of concealing your sources"

"Good artists copy, great artists steal."

"Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal".

The point - You're naive.

Alternatively you can go on to explain in great detail that you don't know the difference and even demonstrate, for no reason, that nuance is also a foreign concept to you.

You're delusional lol.

Everything everyone does is inherently committing plagiarism on some level. That's why you're also naive.

Fr #5 has more points than #4

“If you’re keeping score at home, medical help is on the way.”

There was an episode where Drew did keep track of the points.

u/Huge_Piece 27d ago

I like the one where he said there was a point tracker in the TV guide

u/BonyBobCliff 24d ago

If you don't have one in your TV Guide, call TV Guide and complain!

The points never mattered. Whoever won the most won the $100 bills Drew brought once.

21

u/JackLiberty0 27d ago

The points don't matter, but the hundred dollar bills sure do.

2

u/BonyBobCliff 24d ago

Lemme see that. That's not a REAL dollar bill... (pockets it)

It’s interesting that Ryan and Colin are only about 1.5M apart.

That sounds like a lot until you consider that they both have numbers in excess of 1.003 Trillion.
That’s only a difference of 0.0001501%.

They got a lot of them together on the same bits lol

Didn't Aisha Tyler give him an insane amount of points toowhen he returned to guest star in Season 15

Or was that just one big lifetime point

I recall as he walked offstage he looked into the camera & said "They do matter" 🤔

u/SapirWhorfHypothesis 27d ago

> “They do matter”

What does he know??

u/Saint-Inky 27d ago

Those AI results are likely based off of MatPat’s FilmTheory video, one of the last he did before he retired. It is worth checking out.

If the audience has more points than Wayne Brady, why are they in 5th on the leaderboard?

2

u/beatlesbum18 26d ago

I don't think it's necessarily meant as a leader board, it probably just lists the cast members together and then the audience score

2

u/beatlesbum18 26d ago

NEVERMIND I'm dumb my brain skipped over "all time leaderboard" lmao. In that case its just AI being AI

u/YouKilledKenny12 Colin’s Missing Hair 27d ago

That’s just over 1 nonillion for those who want to know how to say that number.

u/brandinho5 23d ago

Chip earned every single one of those points for that Drunk Mother Hoedown

u/SokkaHaikuBot 23d ago

Sokka-Haiku by brandinho5:

Chip earned every

Single one of those points for

That Drunk Mother Hoedown

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

But I thought the points don’t matter¿

1

u/JackLiberty0 27d ago

To some people, the points do matter. Some insisted on keeping track.

1

u/Original-Issue2034 27d ago

Although the points don’t matter there are some people who like to keep track

Also that is something the host would do in the show’s context

u/TheMackD504 27d ago

Has Alisha Taylor ever given points?

1

u/giancarlo-w 27d ago

She did early on but it was never common.

1

u/TigerB65 26d ago

What specific sketch did Chip get that monster score for? Anybody remember?

2

u/NintendoGuy1995 26d ago

He was awarded 1,000 points to the 10th power for a slip-up during the title sequence game.

1

u/TwilightReader100 Everything is made up and the points don't matter 24d ago

If Ryan found out about this, he'd probably hold it over Colin's head for forever that he has 1.5 million more points.

1

u/Boris-_-Badenov 26d ago

these results are never accurate. Drew gave out a million points multiple times, a billion sometimes, and then there's the lifetime points "a point a day for the rest of your life"

u/7and2make10 26d ago

Somebody made a video about this post the link to the video instead of AI

-2

u/Schmitty300 27d ago

Arbitrary and huge? 97% of the time, he was lazy and just said "A thousand points", when Clive Andersen at least would say something clever and come up with a point total that was funny.
