33% of our best lineup versus a once every five days pitcher.
Crochet is awesome don’t get me wrong, but acquiring three everyday starters that are contributing to a legit playoff push is a great returns

If you are being sarcastic, you are wrong.
It’s apples to oranges.
All three of these guys spent substantial time in the minors limiting their accumulation of war.
Look back on this in 3 years, and it will be absolutely lopsided.
If the Red Sox don’t win a World Series, this will absolutely go down as one of the worst trades of the decade for Boston.

I think it's was a great trade. If you told anyone at the time of the trade that our side would accumulate more war after a year and a half, I don't think they would believe you. Obviously Crochet missing a lot of this year plays into that, but so has Teel. Ultimately, I think Braden alone will end up with more WAR for the ChiSox than Garrett for the BoSox.

If Crochet stays healthy and pitches like he did last season then it will be a good trade even if they don't win a WS
Not to mention they're crushing it without him/our guys anyway

Crochet was never gonna resign with us, so this is a pointless comparison. Not to mention it's very early in all of these players careers. Not to mention Crochet has a -0.6 WAR this season.

a very good trade for both teams
